At Balounette we do not apply extra costs for end of stay cleaning! We will be happy to welcome guests who leave the accommodation tidy and in good condition, providing only an ordinary cleaning service. Otherwise a payment of 20 euros will be required on your departure for extra ordinary cleaning (dirty dishes in the sink, dustbin scattered around the house etc). The apartment is located on the top floor (top floor), accessed via a lift or condominium stairs and enjoys excellent quiet and silence; it has a comfortable BEDROOM with a 2m long mattress, therefore also suitable for taller people like me! There is a walk-in closet where you can hang clothes comfortably, a chest of drawers and shelves for sweaters and sweaters. THE KITCHEN is equipped with everything you need; oven, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, induction hob (there is no gas in the house and this makes it safer for guests too). A small survival kit is also provided with the usual things you don't take on vacation like salt, sugar, oil etc .. the famous "basics"! IN THE LIVING ROOM there is a double sofa bed for any additional guests, a TV with DVD player and an audio system, as well as some books and magazines available! The sofa can be prepared as a single bed ONLY for bookings of 3 people. IN THE BATHROOM there is a washing machine, a large well-lit mirror, a hairdryer, a comfortable shower with a large shower head that gives great satisfaction;) There is WIFI as well as air conditioning. Heating is centralized with independent thermovalves. For maximum security, the house is equipped with an armored door. In the apartment you will find clean sheets and towels together with a small welcome kit consisting of shampoo, soap, shower gel, a bottle of water and a little sweet thought. The flat is very comfortable, very well-equipped and with a view of the mountains beyond the rooftops. We were lucky to have marvellous weather in November and so the city and the view seemed all the more beautiful. The flat is very well-situated to visit the city on foot. There is an open air market just nearby and then other sights easily reached. There are so many restaurants you are just spoiled for choice. Matteo gave us very clear instructions concerning arrival and departure and there is lots of helpful literature about the city in the flat. This a beautifully and thoughtfully renovated top floor apartment with a lovely balcony facing the Alps. You'll feel at home in Matteo's apartment because a lot of the decorations come from his family--a very nice touch. The apartment is quiet and well furnished with kitchen supplies and comfortable bedding. The apartment is completely walkable to all parts of the city. But staying and exploring in the neighborhood is worthwhile to discover the unique energy of the area. We shopped at the market nearby daily and made meals at home in addition to eating out because there is no shortage of delicious food in Torino. At the market, the produce, meat and fish was top choice and bountiful. While, it was cool during our stay outside but the apartment was completely comfortable. We still enjoyed the balcony immensely. I will stay with Matteo again next time I have a visit to Torino. ##### Tim W. Matteo is a wonderful and very accommodating host that was quick to respond and helpful in every way. We got a lot of use out of the balcony that has a great view of the Alps on a clear day. There was a fabulous flea market downstairs and all around the neighborhood on a Saturday, whilst the central market a couple of blocks away was great to shop for delicious foods. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed for our short stay. The neighborhood is cool, but very local. Although it had everything we needed and is close to the center, it’s not the “posh” side of town, so it took a minute to get our bearings. It is very walkable and safe, despite of a lot of graffiti all around. Overall a very pleasant stay. Thank you! ##### Phil V. Eine Auswahl attraktiver Cafés und Bars gibt es in direkter Nachbarschaft. Matteo gab gute Restaurant Empfehlungen. Apartment is on 6th floor, with a small lift, and is very clean and well appointed, bed was very comfortable, compact kitchen well stocked and equipped. Very nice balcony with lovely view of the mountains. We enjoyed being close to the market. Three of the nights there was noise from the Il Maglio Restaurant (karaoke?). Matteo's property was perfect for our 3 day stay in Turin - it had most of the essentials we needed and it was great being able to go to the grocery store and make several meals at home. The balconies were great for enjoying a glass of wine and the sunsets were gorgeous over the Alps. The apartment is about a 15-20 minutes walk from the city center, but the walk is easy and full with fun sights, such as the bustling food market, the cathedral of San Giovanni Battista (where the Shroud of Turin is housed), and the Roman city gate ruins.
