The property is in Great location. People are very welcoming. The receptionist are very helpful and friendly. So highly recommended this hotel with a fair price too.

We asked to be charred in person and in cash they charged our credit cart and then told us they would send the money back so we gave them cash as well. Still no money back. So we were charged twice.

Small room but clean and comfortable. Very cramped bathroom with impossibly small shower with uncontrollably hot water. Also, noisy after 6 am. Not really 3 star.

ok hotel but needs improvement
Overall, it was an ok choice. The close proximity to the train station (Porta Susa) was very convenient as we arrived in and left Turin by train from Milan. Also, the room was clean. However, our room was very cold because there was a window in the bathroom which is not designed to fully close (no latch), and Turin is very cold in the winter. Also, the heating is centralized and does not run all the time. There was a safe in the room but it was locked shut and therefore unusable. In addition, the website where we made the booking as well as our confirmation email stated that check-in time is 14:00, but when we arrived less than an hour early, they insisted that check-in time was 15:00, so we had to wait much longer than we were expecting to check in.

Convenient and adequate hotel
Walkable location for central Turin and easy to reach with a car (parking space is limited, paid and the space within the courtyard tricky to park in). Rooms and the hotel was clean and perfectly good for a night or two. Soundproofing within the hotel was pretty bad, but it never felt too noisy. Breakfast is pretty limited, but pastries were fresh and coffee good.

Good hotel for overnight stay in Turin centre
Hotel is in old building but is clean, comfortable and close to city center. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Parking is available (10 euros per day). Breakfast is ok for the price paid (coffee/tea, croissants and pastries).

Nice Pit Stop Stay
Stayed here as a pit stop. Chose hotel due to proximity to bus station and train stations. Were a little concerned about cleanliness and service based on reviews. Our stay was clean and comfy. Tried a few words in Italian; both night and morning staff were friendly and spoke some English. Night staff ran up stairs twice when guests pulled 'help me' bathroom string! The room was small by US standards but was clean for us. Shower was quite small but worked! Room was a little noisy with guests adjacent and in hallway but this was little bother. Balcony was a nice touch. Would stay again.

Local hotel for visiting family
On one occasion after the room had been cleaned, there were no towels left for me and on another, no toilet roll. I found hairs in my bed. Two nights were taken up with coachloads of children arriving and running up and down the corridors, screaming and shouting until 11.30pm. No one from reception bothered to tell them to keep the noise down.

We are journeying through Europe for a few months and needed a stay in between trains to our next location. We wanted a quiet room so we could rest up on our travels which is exactly what we got. Very satisfied, helped us move along the next day well rested and ready to go.

Old world charm.
We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Orchidea. The hotel is old and has a lot of character. Our room was clean and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. It is very close to the train station and suited our needs perfectly.

Me and my wife came to Torino in the first day of our trip to Italy. We booked this hotel because of the attractive price, but we came to regret it very quickly. First, the location - we thought that the hotel has a good location near the center of Torino. This is not the case. The city center is about 25 minutes walk from the center. It is close to some public transportation, but if you like to walk your cities, it's not a good option for you. The room was VERY small. I'm a big man (around 186 cm), and I found it very hard to enter the room with my stuff, and to use the bathroom or just to walk around. The room is very old and not well kept, and the bathroom had a strong wired smell. The price includes breakfast, but don't expect much. While it's true that Italian breakfasts are not great in general, this was the worst we've got in our trip - a very small selection with poor quality. Overall - this is a very bad value for money. The hotel is cheap compared to other places, but not cheap enough to justify this kind of service.

Well-located no-frills budget hotel
Hotel is just behind the Porta Susa train station. It's not quite a 3 star hotel in my estimation but a good value. The hotel could use an update. It's not a business hotel - they had a technical problem and could not transfer calls to my room and the wifi was terrible.

A comfortable stay, clean and tidy hotel with good sized room and a balcony. A good base from which to explore Turin, 5min walk to the station and walking distance to sights. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. WiFi only worked intermittently during my stay but this wasn't a problem for me.

Express Turin layover
Not satisfied with luggage fee and the city tax, though everything else was fine. Helpful staff, clean rooms, great location and definitely a recommended place for others to stay.

Located in a quiet residential neighborhood close to Porta Susa (5 minutes walking). Bus 57 to the city center stops around the corner. Or walk 20 -- 30 minutes. Check-in process is efficient and professional. Desk staff was always pleasant and efficient. (Most speak some English.) Rooms are small and our room quickly because stuffy if we did not put on the AC. If you are claustrophobic, watch out for the tiny shower stall. Only 1 usable electrical outlet in our room. The double bed was comfortably firm and not lumpy. WiFi is free, but the signal is not always adequate and sometimes we had difficulties maintaining a connection. An "Italian breakfast" is included -- croissants, juice, coffee, tea. It is adequate -- but some fresh fruit or boiled eggs would also be nice.

A nice compromise for folks on a budget
I stayed a couple of times here over the course of a week or so. In both cases I was happy with the room, though the second time I stayed the room I had was significantly nicer than the first. The staff was friendly, they mostly spoke english, and the location was great.

Great little place
Great little hotel in a lovely, calm area of Turin. 2 minutes walk from Porta Susa railway station. Supermarket just around the corner. Great breakfast. Efficient and nice staff. Very quiet. I walked everywhere from there. I'll return there on my next visit to beautiful Turin.

The place did not look promising at first but I was positively surprised. The room was spacious. The staff was very nice. On eight the cleaning staff had forgotten to give me new towels and the night porter did not speak English but we managed just fine to get me new towels :) The breakfast was great.

La struttura non è recente, ma i bagni sono ben tenuti, materassi e cuscini comodi. Ottimo il personale. Colazione a bouffet varia ed abbondante. Vicinissimo a metro e a fermate di autibus e tram. Prezzo conveniente 104€ per una quadrupla, letto matrimoniale e letto a castello per i bambini. Tv, aria condizionata ed asciugacapelli funzionanti. Ottima pizzeria a 50 metri.
