Nice enough place. Great location near Puorta Nova train station. Nice enough small breakfast. Staff were very nice. Facilities themselves we're quite worn and dated but the bed was comfortable and bathroom good enough. A little bit expensive considering the state of the facilities but otherwise pretty solid stay.

Very convenient to Turin centre, close by bus stops, main train station, & excellent restaurants. Hotel is very clean with multilingual, helpful staff. Lovely breakfasts with great selection. One * taken off due to noisy shared aircon unit on balcony, being switched on and off at night.

Really good value Hotel, 30 minute walk from the centre. No facility for car parking (despite stating they do!). There is an underground car park 10 minute walk away costing 11euros per day

I enjoyed my stay here. My room was always very clean and the staff was helpful and courteous. The hotel is older but well worth the stay. Close to shopping and transportation. You will love the hotel.

The property was great especially for its value. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with nice amenities and breakfast included. Additionally the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay again.

Such a nice hotel with very friendly staff, comfortable and spacious room, delicious continental breakfast and just a short walk from Torino Porta Nuova. Very happy with my choice of hotel, I will certainly stay again when in Turin.

Staff is very attentive, and if ever leaving the building, you can leave the key to the reception to avoid a potential loss (room confirmation required). Like the breakfast portion; easy way to start the day

Decent hotel close to Porta Nueva train station
I wanted a hotel close to train station, which was clean and safe. All this was provided well by Hotel Italia. The breakfast was charged additional for Euro 5 , which I didn’t take. All was ok with the hotel based on my basic requirement, except the Wifi. Hotel offers free Wifi, but the connection is not stable.

Spacious and comfortable; excellent location
My stay at the Hotel was unexpected: having missed a train connection (due to an accident,), I had to find, at the last minute, a hotel room in Turin. Luckily I found this hotel, which is perfect if travelling to/from Turin's Porta Nuova station, being less than 5 minutes' walk from it. The hotel has a certain age, and, in some places, it shows, but let that not deter you: the room, bathroom, bed linen and towels were all very clean. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the room was very quiet. No problems at all with the WiFi, even better than the WiFi I found in higher category hotels. The staff at the reception was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. All this for a very good price!

Spend a little extra money and find someplace better. We had two rooms. My friend said he couldn’t sleep all night because of the train going by every 15 min. I could hear a party goer getting sick for over an hour through the paper thin walls in the adjacent room. The one staff member working the front desk was very argumentative. He wanted to charge me for the rooms that were already paid for through the website. I even showed him my online statement and he still tried to argue about it. Unbelievable!

This hotel was really nice . Stuff was kind. Room was clean . towel was really soft and it was the best towel ever in Italy. I’ve been traveling Italy for 2months and stay hotels 1stat to 4star depending on situation but this hotel was really good

If you buy on price you get this horrible man
Check in made this a very disappointing experience. The older man doing the checking in is in the wrong job. When I asked for the remote for the air conditioning I was flatly refused it. When I asked for some tourist information re Metro tickets I was just fobbed off as quickly as possible. But parking was the most unpleasant issue. With my booking I had requested parking for my motorcycle in line with their advertised parking facility. I received no reply to this enquiry and assumed all ok. When I got there this man completely denied that the hotel offers parking and was told to find a spot on the street. This was not what I wanted or had asked for. He eventually suggested a private garage close by for which I paid far more that the hotels advertised price. When I cam back to the hotel I saw the sign on the counter saying PARKING to which he said " ah but not for motorcycles", as if. This man puts on a facade of helping its an act, he is of no use whatsoever. If you want parking, avoid If you want air con avoid If you want help with the locality avoid. The experience with him overshadowed everything else the hotel offers

Inconvenient vacation
We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. It was to be a relaxation vacation after several months of works. We booked this hotel almost a week prior to our stay in Turin. I choice this hotel because it is near the central train station and it was one of the few available hotel in the area that time. Receptionists were very accommodating, friendly and speak English well. Our main problem was that wifi did not function at all inside the room during the whole duration of our vacation, every time we need to communicate with someone we have to go down to lobby. Taking a bath is a nightmare for us! It has no door with a thin curtain that when the shower is on water goes to floor of our bed. A small 2sq ft shower room. It is far from the city center. I will not recommend to my friends.

We chose the economy room, for a cheap price, so didn’t expect much, but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and had everything we needed: fridge, small balcony, A/C, bathroom. They even gave us complimentary bottled water. Only thing was, being old, the shower leaked a bit. There is an elevator. Good wifi. For us, location was ideal, 450 m from train station, 1.5 km to central Piazzo Castello, supermarket round the corner.

Non as bad as it seems like
All the reviews on the website are correct... however no one mentioned the heritage/history of the building itself. That’s why is missing improvements.. the rest... if you are planning to use the hotel just to sleep and shower, this is the best you can find!!

Pick anywhere else if you can.
I am a very, very, very, (yes, 3 verys) tolerant traveler, and often find a 3* rating on expedia to meet my basic needs. But this room (hotel actually) lacked the basic sanitary necessities to feel clean. It was clear the bathroom hadn't been cleaned in many months... the stains under the toilet seat were significant proof. I wish I had the presence of mind to take a picture at the time, but decided to go drink it off that evening! Moreover, for the cost, there are better hotels just next door, around the corner and down the street. We unfortunately suffered in this hotel because a big football match was on and everything was booked up.

Did not expect a 3 star hotel with old facilities.
The price we paid is too much for this hotel with the the type of facilities given. Obviously somebody has marked up the price. We gave it a 1 star rating! Do not know whether you guys have visited the hotel before rating or pricing it. I hope you guys can refund me some money!

I stayed one night here because it is a few minutes walk from the train station and the city center. the hotel itself is more like a 2 star hotel. the twin bed room is tiny. very outdated like from the 1930's. super basic. for the amount i paid, i think it was expensive compared to the better hotel that i stayed at the night before (which was cheaper)

very simple hotel. bad wifi in the rooms - if you want an internet access, you will have to be in the lobby or to use the computer they have(only one). few minutes from the porta nouva on foot. 15 minutes from the politecnico.
