"The hotel is located very centrally in Tunis making it very easy to walk everywhere, however the street the hotel was on is run down and felt unsafe at night. The staff were extremely kind and helpful especially since it was our first time in the country. The hotel itself however was not the best, the room was not very clean especially the shower area and it generally needed a fair bit of maintenance. "Possible fraud concern. Although I booked and paid via Expedia online, the hostel owner requested I pay cash upon arrival. I have effectively double paid for my stay and hostel did not issue an official receipt. I would recommend NOT staying here. Instead look for a properly established hotel to avoid this situation.
