Was nice to have property close to beach and option to have breakfast on site. Staff was accommodating at breakfast. Room had water but no refrigerator. Disappointing part about this property was they use “cenote” water for sink and shower which tasted very salty when I accidentally licked my lips during showering. Bathing in salty water was not appealing and didn’t feel clean or refreshing. The room and bathroom was extremely dim. Felt dark entire time. The trunk safe lid is very heavy to close and lock. The floor cabanas with patio are very small and sand gets everywhere. There are heavy bowls with water next to entrance to clean off feet but the sand gets all over it due to wind and no one replenishes the bowls with fresh water like other properties do. These bowls were too heavy to carry into cabana and clean out sand and dirty water to replace with clean water ourselves. A barrier to prevent sand from getting so close to cabana entrance would have been nice. The bathroom sink and mirror sit very high. Not at all accommodating for anyone below 5’3” Lastly, a friend staying here couldn’t find her passport after checking out. Her bags with passport and credit cards were taken from her room to front desk for an hour to hold while waiting for ride. She returned to inquire about her passport and front desk girl denied seeing it and claimed she saw her bag zipper open. The property later “found” her passport after my friend a made police report.
