We stay here as often as we can when we visit Tucson. I gave it 4 stars on the facilities due to the washers not working properly. The rooms are great, the staff ia great the area is not so great. Still we enjoy staying here and definitely recommend the Varsity Clubs.

I like how you need a key to get into the hotel. So not just anybody off the street can walk in.

Front staff super friendly. Loved the space of the 2 bedroom suite, enough for a family of 5. Only there for 1 day, for a UofA tour, so didnt get a chance to use the pool. Short distance from campus.

We had a good stay here. The room was very spacious and pretty clean. The first night there must have been kids in the room above ours that were running around for a few hours. The hotel is right in the road at an intersection, so we felt like they were drag racing outside our room and it was quite loud. It was a good location for visiting both sides of Saguaro National Park and served us well.

We chose Varsity Clubs of America in Tucson for its proximity to the hospital and for its value. They have exceeded our expectations. This is the best value for the money we have encountered in a long time.

Establishment is excellent and very well maintained. Rooms are awesome, spacious and have all the emenities one could need. Our room faced the busy street so it was a bit noisy.

I booked this room with a company credit card for a team member. I called the hotel to request a credit card authorization form which is standard practice when the employee traveling will not have the company card used to book the room. The service rep indicated the hotel did not use this form and the guest would be required to have the credit card with them. I requested to cancel and a refund. The refund was not granted even though I canceled within minutes of making the reservation.

The stay was good with a few exceptions. The lobby was locked requiring a card to enter. This was a problem since we had not checked in. The Front desk was slow to open and admit us, she was not very friendly and seemed bored and inconvenienced. Overall the room was pleasant and the property is well located. Parking is tight.

We had a lovely 2 bedroom suite. It would have been nice to have any breakfast options. But there’s a McDonalds across the street. Easy parking. Nice hot tub.

Could be a little better
Overall it was a goid stay. Only gripes are that we decided to stay an extra day last minute and they accomidated our request but had the change rooms. I may not understand the dynamics of a hotel but in my mind if you are in a room, already dirtied the towels and slept in the bed, wouldn't it be cost effective to keep us in there and not have to clean for a new customer? Also check in and out times are ridiculous. 10am out, 4pm in.. Standard is 11am and 3pm. Sucks to pay for a day and at best only get 18 hrs.
