Many places to explore including the Reid Park Zoo, Sabino Canyon, Saguaro National Park (East & West), Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, and the Pima Air & Space Museum. There are also many bike, running, and walking paths nearby. Tucson is also a golfers paradise. No cats allowed, an additional fee of $10 USD per night per dog. However, there were several inconveniences that presented challenges during our stay. For example, common spaces like the kitchen and living room felt cramped. The bathrooms could use more surface space for toiletries and hooks for towels. Besides the beds and TVs, the bedrooms were quite sparse, with very little nightstand space. The kitchen countertop space and dishes are not adequate for the potential number of guests. The indoor table seating is not well suited for very young children or elderly people. Any minor issues were corrected within minutes e.g. propane in BBQ was low - I contacted the owner and he arrived with a tank in 10 minutes! There were a few small items not there that would have been helpful and I mentioned them to property manager for future guests. Kind of in the middle of an industrial area, but the wonderful backyard area provided privacy and a great place to sit back and relax.
