It was a pleasure. Casa Luna has a good kitchen, a comfortable bed, and was very clean. The neighborhood is beautiful and very walkable, and there’s easy access to the university and downtown Tucson as well as parks for hiking outside the city. The neighborhood was an excellent jumping off space. We loved walking in the neighborhood. It was close to all the parks we visited. Close to UA campus, super quiet, and convenient to town. Queen bed was firm but comfortable. The futon in the living room (if three people staying) would need to be for someone short. With adventures planned for every day, we were usually away for 7-12 hours which left little time to just hang about the grounds. Casa Luna has two outdoor seating areas, making it easy to enjoy the heat and light OR shade and cool no matter the time of day. The hosts were quite responsive and accommodating, providing us with everything to make our stay the best ever. Our new finds are Barrio Bread, a short 1.2 miles away. Open 9-1 or until they sell out, one can’t go wrong with any of the breads or flours. And Guadalajara has unique dishes and has now replaced El Charro Cafe as my go-to Mexican restaurant. The pickle ball courts and food at Corbett’s on 6th are definitely on my return trip to-do list! And Romero Pottery House in Old Town is worth a visit even if you can’t take a class.
