We were lucky to find this property for a last-minute weekend away. We contacted the owner and he replied right away and was very friendly and communicative throughout the weekend. The house is cozy but didn't feel crowded, even though we had five people and a dog. The neighborhood is peaceful with a waterfront area just down the block and a great seafood restaurant right across the street. We went to Brandt Beach on LBI, which is 30 minutes away and has easy beach access and lots of parking. The house has Wi-Fi and you can access your streaming accounts on the TV. There are games and puzzles. We spent a lot of time on the front porch and the screened-in porch, which overlooks a marshy area with lots of birds to watch. The rooms are very small but the beds (all double beds, no queens) are comfortable and the beach decor makes them feel open and airy. The living room and kitchen are a good size and there is a TV room with a dining room table, so plenty of common space to hang out in. There were a few things missing when we stayed - sheets for the beds, spoons and forks, and enough towels (there were 3 bath towels for 5 people). We got the sense that this is a brand new listing and they are still getting everything set up. Just check in with the owner before you go to make sure that everything that should be there is there.
