"I went alone with my dog for a three night stay and had an amazing experience. Quiet, secluded, and beautiful-exactly what I wanted to unplug for a few days. The cabin had all the amenities you could need and then some. Lakeside dock, covered front porch and fire pit all great places to relax. Inside cozy furniture (bonus on recliners ) and wood burning fireplace. Ample firewood was available. Five acres of privacy and trails were perfect. Bring your own sheets, blankets and pillows. Very clean and well maintained. Will definitely return!"

"Basic but clean, felt isolated. Not a fan of the call center feeling video kiosk check-in. Wi-Fi and TV signal very unreliable. Toilet was wobbly, felt unsafe. Coffeemaker in room but no coffee. No ice in ice machine. They need to do better. Didn’t use the pool, walls and bottom dirty looking. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend."

"The house is a strange u-shape layout that is not reflected in the listing. The floor needs immediate repair, which is evidently scheduled, however, the boards are popping up in places causing some splinters, etc. The home is warm and otherwise comfortable. All the appliances work. I would suggest an alternative to the entry. I found the lock box for the key very frustrating. Also, it should be noted that guests are responsible for shoveling now and clearing the drive. "
