Back garden with garden furniture. 1 dog welcome, to be kept on a lead in public areas (sheep country). Private gated parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please Note: Sorry, no children.. Welcome to Contention Barn, a charming one-bedroom detached barn conversion, nestled in the picturesque hamlet of Penhallow, close to the popular seaside resort of Perranporth. Experience the tranquillity and beauty of the Cornwall countryside in this idyllic location, it’s a perfect haven for couples seeking a peaceful retreat with easy access to outdoor adventures, the location is strategically positioned for easy access to both Newquay and Truro, providing the opportunity to explore the vibrant towns and their attractions.  
  
The open-plan living area provides a delightful space to unwind, with large windows overlooking the enclosed garden, great for your four-legged friend. This not only brings in natural light but also offers a perfect vantage point for stargazing on clear nights. Imagine enjoying a glass of wine with your loved one, surrounded by the beauty of the countryside and the incredible night skies, or just relax and unwind listening to the sounds of birds.  
  
Situated just a 5-minute drive from a local pub, ideal if you don’t want to cook, this barn conversion offers convenience and a warm, welcoming atmosphere ideal as a base for exploring this beautiful part of Cornwall. The nearest beach, Perranporth is just 2 miles away and is renowned among surfers for its waves, ideal if you want to enjoy sun-soaked days by the sea. The town has independent gift shops, cafés, and restaurants as well as an art gallery so well worth spending a day here, its ideal if you need to pick up some bits and pieces that you may have forgotten. From the property, numerous walking trails beckon, allowing you to explore the scenic surroundings at your own pace. Whether you prefer a leisurely stroll or a more challenging hike, the diverse landscape caters to all preferences.  
  
This cottage is thoughtfully designed, unsuitable for children due to having only one bedroom and not suitable for Electric Wheelchairs or Electric Mobility Scooters, but a four-legged friend is more than welcome, and there’s no additional charge for your canine companion. Beach 2 miles.
