Whether you're visiting for a wedding, graduation at Cornell University, or a wine tour, this stunning vacation home offers the perfect mix of comfort and serene views. Inside, the open floor plan welcomes you with floor-to-ceiling windows and a sliding glass door that bring the sparkling lake right into the living and dining spaces. The fully equipped kitchen features plenty of island counter space, making meal prep easy and fun. The round dining table overlooks the lake, creating a lovely spot for shared meals. The main level includes a queen bedroom and a bathroom with a step-in shower, while upstairs you'll find the master bedroom with a king bed and another queen bedroom. A second full bathroom completes the upper level. The lower level offers an extra living room with a wrap-around sofa, perfect for streaming your favorite shows or cheering on the game. It also has a fourth bedroom with two twin beds and a third bathroom. Outside, lake life awaits. Spend your days paddling on the calm waters using one of the paddleboards or soaking up the sun on the dock. The maximum occupancy of each home is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time. This includes both day and overnight guests as well as all children including infants. Note: 1\. You will receive an email upon confirmation with a link to our Guest License Agreement which is a copy of our Rental Rules that must be signed and returned within 7 days of receiving. 2\. Smoking is not allowed in any rental property. This includes vaping and e-cigarettes. 3\. Homes are not handicap accessible, unless stated in the description. 4\. Air conditioning is not available unless listed as an amenity. If available, air conditioning is considered a seasonal amenity and is only available May 15 - October 15. 5\. I have rented many homes that say they have a fully stocked kitchen, but Lone Retreat means it! Quality - and quantity - of everything you need to enjoy homemade meals during your stay. High-end appliances and coffeemakers, too. The beds are all comfortable; the linens and towels are good quality, too. The house is about 30 minutes from Ithaca and the last 10 minutes of the drive are on a gravel, single lane road that becomes steep at the driveway. The booking said it recommends "all wheel or 4 wheel drive"; we had no problem with our minivan and a small SUV but we made the trip to the house only once a day, preferring to do any errands (groceries, etc) while on our way back from a hike.
