Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!' Cozy and warm, this Northstar vacation condo with mountain views is the perfect place to spend time with your nearest and dearest. Shared amenities offer plenty to do, and it's not far to excellent skiing. The Village at Northstar is a luxury resort near Truckee. A free shuttle will pick you up at the condo building and bring you to the rec center, golf, or skiing (0.5 miles away). If you prefer, though, feel free to bring a car! Please note that in winter, 4WD may be needed. The wooden walls and modern furnishings make this studio a cheerful, friendly place to spend time. Sliding doors lead out to a little balcony where you can sip a glass of wine while you watch the sun set over the mountains. A double-size Murphy bed pulls down from the wall, and can be put back up during the day for more living space. There's also a futon, so this studio can accommodate up to four guests. On a chilly winter evening, spend time playing board games, or watch a movie on Netflix on cable while the fire keeps you toasty. If you're keeping up on work while you're away, log onto the WiFi. Prepare delicious meals in the kitchen and dine together at the dining table. There's a dishwasher, so cleanup goes fast. Enjoy access to the Northstar recreation center amenities, which include tennis courts, basketball courts, a fitness center, a sauna, a hot tub, a seasonal lap pool, and an open grill area next to a beautiful creek surrounded by pine, fir, and aspen trees. (Site rentals include the use of three picnic tables and up to two gas BBQ grills with grilling utensils.) There is a $10 daily fee per person for use of the facilities. The Cross Country, Telemark + Snowshoe Center offers tons of outdoor fun. Go downhill or Nordic skiing or snowshoeing. If you didn't bring gear, don't worry - you can rent it here. THINGS TO KNOW Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 1. Ski shuttle details: Northstar Shuttle 530-562-2257 Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 30 years of age to book. Also had a small balcony with a. functional grill. TV was functional but had a very year old Roku attached to it that was very slow. New ones are very cheap, owner should consider upgrading. The unit needs a deep clean, the space under the bed and futon was very very dusty and dirty. Sink faucet was broken and every time we went to use it with medium flow it would spray us. This was communicated by phone when we got there. When we arrived there were 5 cleaning ladies in our unit as they couldn’t decide if they finished cleaning the bathroom—not what you want during a pandemic. Both having been exposed to 5 people and wondering if your bathroom was clean. Lastly there seemed to be a pricing error as the room per night was $40 cheaper for the rest of the summer. I sent two emails to Vacasa regarding this and no response, probably the most disappointing of all. Actually in my 20 years of renting from VRBO, I’ve never not received communication from the owner. I wouldn’t rent this unit again from a Vacassa property. ##### Franco G. To add to it, I was unable to get into my rental for the entire afternoon and missed a day of biking because the crew was painting the entry and it took all afternoon. We loved this place. It has a great location with walking distance to the Northstar village and a few steps from the free shuttle bus that will take you there as well. The unit is on the first floor, so if you're packed, this is easier than those on the upper floors :) The kitchen is amazing! Well equipped with high end equipment and all the necessary tools to cook if you're into it. Lot's of games and included Hulu was a boon for the kids who "binge watched" Curious George when we needed some time to clean or cook. One thing to note though, if you're 4, bring some extra blankets with you - not a big deal but luckily we brought a couple so that wasn't a problem for us. ##### Amir H.
