The condo is open and spacious with a living room, couch, coffee table and lots of windows and natural light. A TV, open kitchen and separate seating/reading nook are also on the first floor. The sofa has a queen sleep pullout and the reading nook has a single bed pullout for a couple extra friends or family. The remodeled kitchen has everything you need to make delicious home-cooked meals. Upstairs is the newly renovated bathroom, washer dryer and bedroom with a Queen bed. This floor is protected by great bear photography! When you enter the condo there is a mud room great for stashing boots, jackets, skis, hiking boots and other fun toys for your time in the mountains. Please visit the Tahoe Donner website for a full list of public amenities including information on the Downhill Ski Resort, Cross County Ski Center, Snowplay, Tahoe Donner Golf Course, Alder Creek Adventure Center, Bikeworks, mountain biking and hiking trails, and other recreational programs and events. There are also several dining options throughout Tahoe Donner that are open to the public. All amenities except the downhill ski area are not within walking distance and will require a vehicle to drive there. HOA amenities that guests will have access to for a daily fee include the Trout Creek Recreation Center, Tennis Center, Beach Club Marina, and Rec Hut. Trout Creek has a fitness center, recreation pool, lap pool, steam room, dry sauna, and spas. Your rental will come with 4 guest passes for a discounted rate on private amenities. Each pass is good for one person per day, children 3 and under are excluded. STR Guests may be required to make reservations in advance during peak season or possibly denied access based on availability. Walking to get my daughter into ski lessons was very convenient. There are just a few things to note. We had an issue with the pellet stove (one of the primary heat sources), and although the property managers were great at communicating, they weren’t able to fix it before we left. Also, the walkways are not well maintained, so there was precarious trying to get to and from the parking lot. It was comfortable, cozy, clean, and suited our family very well. The condo was well located, right next to the Donner mountain ski slope (easily walkable). The condo is immaculate - modern, well stocked with all the essentials and a few extra goodies - wonderful furniture and bonus pellet stove that kept the house toasty warm! The photos don't do the condo justice. Property manager was super responsive, instructions within the condo easy to follow and thorough...I can't say enough about this place! It is defnitely starred as my "Go to" when I return to Tahoe Donner for future ski getaways! Only warning is having 4wheel drive is no joke - the mountain roads in this area are slipperty with snow and ice! ##### Jamie F. It was very clean and the kitchen was well organized. The master bedroom is up a short flight of stairs with a handrail. The condo has a relaxing feel to it. The sofa configuration was so cozy. There’s a little nook with a desk and a chair. The pellet stove kept us warm and it’s easy to use. I would stay here again next snow season…if it ever ends! ##### Terri J. Everything we needed was supplied and the condo was super clean and newly remodeled. It was an amazing location - a super close walk to the chair lifts for skiing.
