The residence features a gourmet kitchen, stainless steel appliances including Thermador range, granite counter tops, in-tub spa, and an outdoor balcony overlooking the lower village. The raised ceilings and tall windows make this condo feel spacious and bright. The master bedroom is a king suite with two closets and a double vanity bathroom. The second bedroom features two twin beds plus one twin trundle. In addition, the living room has a sleeper sofa. Enjoy a cool Tahoe evening on the balcony off of the main living area, or snuggle up to the cozy fireplace. Shared outdoor hot tubs and fitness center are located on the ground level of the Iron Horse South Lodge. Guests may also enjoy use of the Village Swim and Fitness Center, which includes a year-round saline pool, hot tub, large fitness facility, locker rooms with steam showers, and a game and lounge area. This residence includes one underground parking space in the heated parking garage with elevator access. It is closer to the shuttle stop side of the Village so not as close to the gondola as some of the other buildings, but it is very close to a lot of stores. Our favorite part about the location was that it was a few steps away from Copper Lane which is the little grocery and food store we frequent when staying in the Village, rather than driving to Truckee. You are also on the side of the Village that is close to the rec center with pool, and being near the shuttle stop means it’s easier to grab a cart to get your group’s equipment over to the gondola at the start of a ski day. Within the Iron Horse North building, this unit is also extremely close to the ski lockers, elevator and building entrance. Despite its location, we heard virtually no noise from other residents and guests in the building (although admittedly we were not there at a peak time). The rental company that manages the rentals is very responsive, friendly and professional, and the unit was clean and well maintained. We would definitely consider staying in this unit again, and would definitely look at other properties managed by the same company next time we are heading to Tahoe. ##### Grace L.
