The stairs were a tad steep but kids did fine. The primary bedroom and bathroom downstairs was perfect. It was a warm and cozy home. Playroom with toys was a bonus. It was very convenient to be able to stay and play all in the same spot. We didn’t have to go search for somewhere to sled, the property had a perfect slope in back. Initially we had the wrong door code but our host was able to give us a different one and then we were off to the races. Beds were comfortable and my SUV with a ski box fit inside the garage which is key. I loved the number of coat and glove hooks along the stairway to ensure everything was dry for the next day of skiing The only complaints from my family was that we weren't able to watch the 49ers game on the living room TV because "the channel was not authorized" by the cable/tivo provider, And the neighbors had dogs that barked late at night and early in the morning. Only one of the rooms has window shades so we got up with the sunrise which was around 7:30, there was no problem for us, but if the kids were younger and needed to nap that would have been challenging. The driveway is steep. I have an all-wheel drive SUV with good tires so we didn't have any problems but we were a little daunted by it initially.
