A Five Star World Renowned Resort. The Free Shuttle Bus stops just in front of our home! Our home has 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and one bedroom is a TV room/play room with a daybed. It sleeps 13 comfortably including several couch's. There are 2 fireplaces to keep you warm as well as forced heat. There is also plenty of room for sleeping bags on the floors. Our home is approximately 2200 sq. ft. The front door and driveway are under video surveillance with alarm to ease in flexible of check in. The master bedroom is upstairs, it is equipped with a California king bed and has it’s own bathroom and a cool fireplace heater please provide your own firewood as insurance has asked we not stack it on or near the house because of high fire danger. The bonus room is located downstairs with three other bedrooms and a bathroom. The other bedrooms consist of two bedrooms with queen beds and two bedrooms with two twin beds one of them also has bunk beds as well. All of the rooms have large closets in them. Last bedroom is game room/tv room downstairs has one couch and a twin day bed that kids can also use as beds, which they love to do! This room does not have a closet. Both bathrooms have hair dryers in them. One less thing to bring! There are plenty of towels in the house. There should be two in the master and the rest are stored in the downstairs bathroom and or closet. There is a large cupboard there where you will also find the extra toilet paper. Head over to the NPOA Recreation Center and use your renters pass to access the year-round outdoor heated lap pool, huge seasonal recreational pool, three big outdoor hot tubs, his and hers dry saunas, fitness center, seasonal tennis courts, playground, pay to play arcade, and game room with ping pong, pool table, and air hockey! With my membership there is a $10 fee per person to enter. Or, you can shop, eat, ice skate, see a movie or experience the s'mores and fire pits waiting for you at Northstar Village. In the summer, enjoy the golf course, divided into the 'mountain nine' and the 'valley nine' for great variety. Or, you can take the gondola up the mountain and have a drink at the Ritz Carlton or test your biking on the trails and terrain features. We could have brought 2 more families and felt comfortable! It is also a fantastic location on the shuttle route to the Northstar village. The kids that didn't ski were able to sled and play around the property, which slopes down to a creek in the back (little ones should be supervised). There was enough to do that we didn't have a chance to use the community center, so I can't speak to that perk. These were the main selling points and they were as-advertised. The house is a bit dated on the inside, but all appliances and fixtures were functional, and everything was very clean. The kitchen had all the tools and utensils (and spices, too!) to feed a small army. There were also plentiful linens and towels. There was an issue with the electronic lock upon arrival. It was dead, but I wasn't sure if I just wasn't using it right. The host was responsive in providing an alternate means of entering the property, but it was a challenging delay after a long drive with kids in the car. The host collaborated with us to have the lock repaired during our visit and it all worked out. For the location, amount of space, and communicativeness of the host, we would definitely stay again. ##### Patrick G. Most well stocked rental I have ever stayed at, tons of room, lots of beds, everything we needed and more. Great sledding hills behind the house for the kids. Pretty much as described - a simple open plan living / kitchen / dining room with a master bedroom suite on the main level; and four bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs. Each bedroom featured a different forest animal in its art and decor! We booked Davids house for my wife's birthday trip with some friends and family. From the very beginning David was incredibly nice and answered each of my questions right away. He also wanted to make sure we had an awesome experience so he made sure to make our stay as amazing as possible and we 100% did! He is the perfect host! The house was amazing and in a beautiful neighborhood. The rooms were perfect with plenty of beds and the beds were VERY comfortable. The house is fully stocked for everything that you need and the overall atmosphere gives-off the perfect vibes for a weekend in the snow! You can take the shuttle to Northstar and they will drop you off right at the resort and then bring you back to your doorstep. The yard was perfect for sledding and David has plenty of sleds in the closet for you to use. All of us agreed we are going to make this a yearly trip and plan to book this house every time. ##### Nick B. Plenty of beds and a well stocked kitchen. Only problem in kitchen were the knives. We cook a lot and they were really useless. The family that lives in the area brought knives for us. I suggest a sharpener be in the house. The neighborhood is very quiet and there are some wonderful hiking trails with in walking distance. Short drive to the grocery store and the beach.
