### "The Old Homestead" An Original Homestead Cabin
It is situated on 22 acres, on a quiet country road, away from highways. We have satellite TV, Internet and AT&T cell phone access. There is a convenient, clean propane stove, and a fully equipped kitchen. You can make a cozy fire in the outdoor fire pit. Watch deer, turkeys, elk and moose, and occasionally the neighbor's hound dog right from the front porch.
You will be just minutes away from world class boating, fishing, snowmobiling, or hiking or riding endless mountain trails. Or cross country ski right out the back door. The closest ski lift is 1 1/2 hours away in Sandpoint, Idaho.
If you don't feel like cooking yourself, there are fabulous restaurants and lounges in Trout Creek and nearby towns.

#### An excellent spot for a weekend get-a-way
This was a cozy little cottage with fantastic scenery! It was the perfect spot to relax for the weekend. It has everything you need, too. We really enjoyed the sounds of wind in the trees and meeting the very friendly horses. Erika and Dieter were very friendly and made the check-in process a breeze. They are willing to assist as needed, but they also understand when you just want to relax on your own. We enjoyed the place so much that we hope to make it back sometime in the future! Thanks for opening your home to us Erika and Dieter!

The owners are wonderful, friendly people. They have been very accommodating. The cabin is original rustic with just the right amount of modern day conveniences. Beautiful property with trees, pasture with horses, and deer grazing in the mornings. Enjoyed having a campfire most nights. Quiet and peaceful, perfect for clearing the city chaos from the brain. The cabin was absolutely amazing and clean! The amenities, atmosphere and views were second to none. There was AC, satellite tv, and high speed Wi-Fi. The location of the cabin was centralized around many sightseeing destinations. We cannot wait to come back next year!!

#### A HIDDEN GEM
This is my 2nd time renting this cabin and I love it. Everything is perfect and the hosts are very friendly. I love the historical photos and description of the property hanging on the wall. We had a nice campfire outside, there was lots of chopped wood provided. The kitchen is very well stocked too with everything you should need to cook, all you need to bring is food.
