The hosts, Ana and her son Jorge, were very helpful and informative. The breakfasts were large and tasty and the beds and rooms were comfortable and clean. We enjoyed having beers on the various terraces. Bear in mind that although there are a handful of local restaurants within walking distance, a larger choice is available in Trinidad which is a taxi ride away. The beaches are also accessible by taxi. Ana & Jorge are able to book taxis and arrange tours.

The casa is beautifully decorated with a living tree and many growing plants in the entry way. We had two rooms. The rooms are spacious, well decorated with lovely furnishings and en suite bathrooms. There is a roof top terrace for evenings as well as a small swimming pool in the casa. Ana the host, helped us with anything we needed and made delicious breakfasts. Casa Hostel Puerto Casilda is a 5 star holiday rental. Highly recommended!

This place is just amazing. Will recommend it only with good words. House and family is just super nice and friendly. Only some km from Trinidad and beach is also some km. Ana will help with everything.

We stayed for 14 nights over Christmas and new year, and we had a lovely stay with Anna the casa owner, she and her family made us feel very welcome and we’re very helpful with advise on getting around Trinidad and the beach area, the hostel is very clean good breakfasts and food, and what’s more it looks stunning, perfectly situated between Trinidad town and player ancon I would highly recommend this lovely and friendly hostel.
