Warm welcome by friendly staff. There were even bowls and treats in the room for our dog, so thoughtful. Comfortable and fairly spacious room. Great sauna facilities, like surprisingly nice, including a relaxation area with a lovely view of town. Excellent location as well.

A charming hotel with a room that was spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed the water kettle and coffee in the room. Parking was also a us and for a very reasonable rate.

This hotel was top class. A comfortable spacious room. Great facilities including the wellness suite. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is very convenient to the city sights.

Comfortable and Cozy
We had a great time, the hotel was very clean and neat. Breakfast was great. Very centrally located, almost everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful, they overcharged us for breakfast and we didn’t realize until we arrived home and looked at the receipt. We contacted them and they immediately corrected it and were very kind and apologetic (it was partially our fault, they asked when we checked in if we wanted breakfast and we said yes, but we didn’t get it the last day and we didn’t think to tell them). We would recommend it and would stay there again.

Well located and super friendly and helpful staff. They didn't have a restaurant open in the evening but they did have a great alternative of homemade options that coumd be heated on demand - so useful for solo travellers like me arriving late at night

Good well located hotel.
Convenient hotel, fro both driving to, and then walking around the Roman sites in Trier. Our room was spotless, with the fiitings/features you expect in this type of hotel. Staff were all polite and helpful. Hot drink facilities in the room.

Very clean hotel and very friendly staff. The breakfast was also good. There are nearby restaurants, but no close grocery store that we could find. It's not super close, but still is well within walking distance to attractions and the city center.

Best Hotel ever!
I cannot recommend this hotel enough, amazing staff, bright clean comfy rooms with everything you could want. Fantastic location and the icing on the cake - the Spa!

The hotel is close to the old walled city and the market place is within walking distance. The room was spacious and clean. Limited Open air parking at 9 EUR per day and covered parking at 12 EUR per day.

Good parking, but HOT rooms
This hotel is located nicely at one end of the city. There are plenty of restaurant options within a few blocks. The parking (which is the reason we selected this hotel) works very well (9EU/night). The room was large, and there were about 7 English TV channels, all news. The room was very very HOT! There is no air conditioning. We had to open windows, which they request you don't do. But there is no way we could sleep with the windows closed. And it was high temperatures in the 60's while we were there. There is no safe in the room. The breakfast is OK, but they tended to run out of eggs quickly. If parking is your concern, this hotel is good. Otherwise I would look elsewhere.

Easy check in, however, the room was a bit of a route march away, all areas clean and tidy. Only one problem, I tripped and partly fell on an insecure stair tread, I reported it to reception, who seemed more interested in the stair tread than my accident, having had spinal surgery only 8 weeks previous I was very disappointed by their lack of care.

Friendliest staff I've met yet
Extremely friendly staff,the most helpful I've met in my 3 months of travel. It's more than a place to stay, they offer tours with locals which was a highlight for me. My room was great and thank you for the upgrade! Place was perfectly positioned within walking distance to old town and the Mosel River. AND they even supplied a kettle and iron and ironing board...a very lovely bonus! I certainly enjoyed my stay and have no hesitation recommending Deutscher Hof as a great place to stay!

Another excellent stay
This is an excellent hotel with very helpful and polite staff. It is in excellent condition and kept to a very high standard. It's cleanliness is perfect. The location is easily accessed by car and it has amply parking facilities although these could be a little less expensive. It is 7/9 mins walk from the centre but this is via pedestrianised streets once the road outside has been crossed, in summary v good access. The breakfast is varied, hot and cold, and is extensive. Overall a very pleasant stay was had, this is the second time here, and would highly recommend the hotel
