Watauga River/Lake Located in the beautiful mountains of East Tenn, on the pristine Watauga River, known for its trout fishing. The house is over 100 years old and completely remodeled. Clean and comfortable. 5 mins. from the lake. Close to Tri Cities airport, 1 hour to Asheville, N.C., 20 mins from Bristol Motor Speedway, and 30 mins to Roan Mtn.. East Tn. State University and Millligan College are short drives. LOCATION!! There is a camera on the screened in porch. There are no cameras in the house. Thank you. Ps… please remove garbage, wash your own dishes and put dirty linens in the laundry room. The home is large enough, the master bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. The property next door must have been an old gas station which was not anything to look at but the river across the street was beautiful and your just down the road from Wautuga Lake which was gorgeous. The views are beautiful and the lovely neighbor is the nicest person ever. I wish I had more time to talk to her because I loved hearing the history of the location. The house was perfectly located with a great view of the river from the front porch. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed.
