Bicycles 4 (for hire) \- 150m from the most beautiful private beach on the lake, "the consortium of the poplars of the broom of the gorse" and 100m from the beach of the boat storage with restaurant and bar "knoll of the boats" In a beautiful place in the green between Rome and Tuscia on Lake Bracciano inside the Regional Natural Park of Bracciano Martignano. The residence enjoys a privileged position to reach by bike (we are at the beginning of the cycle path) and / or on foot the sailing clubs for mooring the sailboat or the beaches for swimming. While I would recommend a rental car to reach Trevignano from both Ciampino (airport), Fiumicino (airport), Termini (main railway station) and Civitavecchia (port). There is a shuttle bus stop a few meters away, which can take you to Rome (35km) (1 hour), the fm3 railway station of Anguillara Sabazia (10km) and Bracciano (13km). The historic center of the Eternal City (that is Rome) is easily reachable by traveling 40 km Emoticon smile 25 Miglia). The medieval city of Viterbo is also very close (25 km = 15 miles). If you plan to visit the wonderful Roman countryside, the car is strictly necessary. I've never written a negative review before but here we go: - I sent 3 messages in the 3 days leading up to our stay with no response from Maria (no information provided regarding check-in process etc). She only got back to me a few hours before check-in time. - Check-in is advertised as 2pm and is one of the reasons we booked this accommodation as we were arriving from a long flight that morning. A few hours before check-in she advised it wasn't until 3.30pm (we have an 8mo and 4yo). - The accommodation is advertised as 2 bedrooms but there was only 1 bedroom. No where on the listing does it specify a higher fee for the second bedroom - The bed was very uncomfortable - The shower was very mouldy and stank of mould - The entire bathroom stank of sewage. - The place is close to the road with traffic noise - The kitchen is sparse - 1 teabag provided and that's it. There were no reviews at the time of booking but I've since found many negative reviews on other platforms - please check these out before booking! ##### Molly E.
