The flat is equipped with Wi-Fi , TV, heating and air conditioning.**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**GARDENIA APT is located on the first floor of a small, recently built residential complex, facing one of the most fascinating sceneries of Lake Como, the Comacina Island! GARDENIA APT is on one floor and can accommodate up to 4 people. It consists of: a large and bright living area with kitchen, French window opening onto a furnished terrace with lake view. The sleeping area consists of a double bedroom and a bedroom with two single beds. Finally, there is a complete bathroom with shower and washing machine. Internet wi-fi is available throughout the house. The flat has air conditioning. Private parking space. The flat can accommodate up to 4 people.**ACCESSIBILITY AND PARKING**GARDENIA APT is easily accessible by car, as it has a private parking space. The entrance is reached by climbing a few steps. Internally, the flat is arranged on one floor.**OSSUCCIO & SURROUNDINGS** Ossuccio is a small, charming village on the western shore of Lake Como. The village has a quiet and picturesque atmosphere, with narrow stone alleys, traditional-style houses and charming little corners that seem to stand still in time. The area is perfect for those seeking a quiet place, but also for those who want to explore the historical and natural wonders. The surrounding landscape, with its lush vegetation, is perfect for walking or cycling, and offers many paths leading to panoramic viewpoints from which you can admire Lake Como in all its beauty. A paradise for excursion lovers, thanks to the famous Lake Como Greenway. In Ossuccio you can rent a boat or relax at the Lido. There are bars and restaurants in Ossuccio, but no grocery stores. Please note that the nearest super market is called Sigma in the village of Lenno, 1 km away.**GETTING AROUND**Please note that the taxi service on Lake Como is not always reliable or readily available. We therefore advise against relying on it once you have arrived at your destination. We suggest evaluating alternative options such as public transport (buses and boats), renting a car or using pre-booked private drivers. The bus stop is 160 metres from the flat, while the boat is 1 km away in the village of Lenno. We recommend the use of a car as the flat has a parking space. Easy to reach from the airports, Milan and Lugano, all of which are about an hour\\'s drive away. For further questions regarding transport and transfers please contact us, we will be happy to help.**OTHER THINGS TO NOTE**Please note that during the summer period the street below the flat is very busy and therefore noisy. All guests are required to pay a tourist tax of €3.00 per night, per person. In the cold season heating is an additional cost to be paid separately: € 8.00 / day. It is forbidden not to separate waste as instructed, otherwise a penalty of € 60,00 will be charged. According to Italian law, before check-in, each guest\\'s personal identity document will be requested. Een plek om het meer in te duiken ligt binnen 100 m. De woning is, ondanks de drukke weg, qua geluid goed geïsoleerd. Beddengoed, handdoeken, vuilniszakken, handzeep en opstart-goodie aanwezig. Bedden liggen goed. Beide slaapkamers zijn voorzien van een goede ventilator. De woning was niet perfect schoon maar zeker niet vies te noemen. Het meubilair en dergelijke is ietwat verouderd. De bank zakt bijvoorbeeld hier en daar wat in, een bedrand in de "kinderslaapkamer" is doorgezakt/gebroken, het servies is bij elkaar gezocht (en niet al te ruim in aantal) en dergelijke maar dat heeft zeker ons vakantieplezier niet beïnvloedt. We hebben mede dankzij de ligging van dit fijne appartement een zeer prettige vakantie gehad. Vanaf Ossuccio, Lenno, Tremezzo tot aan Mennagio is wat ons betreft een van de mooiste stukken van het Como-meer. Tuurlijk zijn Bellagio, Como en Varenna prachtige plaatsjes om met de boot te bezoeken, maar voor verblijf is de westelijke kust het meest ideaal. We hebben, zeer tegen onze gewoonte in, de auto bijna niet gebruikt. Boot-, waterfiets en SUP-verhuur is lopend te bereiken evenals opstapplaatsen voor de diverse ferries. Eergelegenheden genoeg in de buurt en de supermarkt in Lenno voldeed ook aan onze eisen. Parkeren in stadjes kan een crime zijn, dus erg fijn dat veel te belopen is. ##### Theodora T.
