Torch Lake Sandbar Directly Across the Street With Indoor Boat Slip Unit A


We are located directly across the street from the Torch Lake Sandbar!

Recently remodeled! This quaint two bedroom one bath duplex style home is located on the beautiful Torch Bayou. It is across the street from the Torch Lake Sandbar. With the pullout couch this apartment sleeps six people. If you are a larger group we recommend renting out both units. Two cars are allowed per unit. We provide trailer parking offsite.

This is a weekly rental from mid June-August that rents from Friday to Friday. Outside of these months shorter rentals are allowed.

We recommend taking your boat to enjoy the gorgeous Torch water. We do have a rental pontoon and tritoon on the property so feel free to inquire about rates and dates for that also!

We do not allow pets, smoking, fireworks, or outdoor fire-pits. Please note there are outdoor surveillance cameras for your added security.

The rentals are in walking distance of ice cream, pizza, a restaurant, and liquor store. The rentals are 5 minutes drive from Alden, 15 minutes away from Elk Rapids, and 35 minute away from Traverse City. This area has attractions for everyone. Wine tasting, breweries, golfing, hiking, shopping, paddle boarding, jet skiing, and boating are just a few attractions.

The boathouse is accessed by boat renters and homeowners. The upper deck on top of the rentals are included however the rooftop on top of the boathouse is not included in the rental.

Great location to accommodate our activities. Nice size for two people though it would hold more. Easy to follow instructions for everything. This was our second booking for this rental so obviously we like it. Owners are very friendly and quick to respond to questions. Highly recommend.

Ryan and Joy have hit it out of the park on this waterfront renovation. (Meagan great job at facilitating the rental management process, Adam thanks for the suggestions and help over the week) Everything you need for an exceptional "Caribbean of the North" experience is at your finger tips. Boat owners this is the one for you, your watercraft will be 10 steps away in a covered boat house on calm water. I can't stress enough about how convenient this was for our family, NO stress of waiting your turn, battling wind, putting cover on/off ...etc. Just jump in and go!Location, you are in the heart of the Torch lake experience...world renowned sand bar is across the street and 10 minutes away by your boat that is out the back door. You'll have two reserved parking spots and a convenient place down the road to park your boat trailer. Ok, lastly... I mentioned the renovation, it goes above and beyond expectations. The 2 bedroom 1 bath works well for 6 people, just have to remind the teenagers to respect others with the bathroom time!!! Let's be honest you don't go to Torch Lake to hangout inside, right. So, back to discussing the outside spaces. The boat house, "priceless" if you love being on the water. The owners also have pontoons for rent if you don't have your own. The rooftop deck was one our favorite hangout spots, we ate, drank and played cards up there at the covered bar area. If you like being outside and want your boat in the water this one is for you!

Can't get any better than this property

Everything about this location is PHENOMENAL. Beautiful property both inside and out. Everything you need is there. Clean, stocked and location to the sandbar is right across the street. We rented both units for 4 couples and it was just perfect. We will definitely return next year. Thank you for hosting us.

This was our first stay using VRBO and on Torch Lake. It was a great experience. There were many amenities available for our stay. Public access to the water was just across the street too. Overall we were thrilled at the cleanliness and the communication from the property manager. We will be returning in the future!

Fantastic as advertised

The owners are fantastic people. Very helpful and courteous. Perfect location to visit the beauty of Torch Lake. Kayaks are free and a must to truly appreciate the lake. The area is filled with helpful friendly people. Lots of places to eat all in short distance to where you're staying. Lots of gluten-free options for those of you with celiac. If you're visiting this area I could not recommend anything more charming and well kept.

Wonderful Little Getaway

Loved our stay! The location was excellent, literally steps from a public access beach and the house was cozy and had everything we needed. It was perfect for our family of three (2 adults and a 4 year old). Only suggestion I have for other guests would be to back into your parking spots to make it easier to get out. Would definitely stay here again!
