The apartment "Traunblick" is on the first floor of the "Receiver Gütl," a more than 400 year old building that has been lovingly restored and exudes unique charm. There is no lack of comfort in the approx. 140 m2 apartment, there is enough space for up to eight people. Dogs are also very welcome! The apartment has the following equipment: \- 3 separate double bedrooms (2x double bed, 1x 2 Single beds) \- 1 sofa bed in the living room \- 1 tub and a shower room with toilet and 1 extra WC \- Fully equipped large kitchen \- a large dining room with wood stove \- a bright spacious living room with access to a balcony \- washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, flat screen TV, free internet access \- Bedding and towels are included The "Gütl" is located directly on the Traun and the adjacent bicycle path, which invites you to explore the surrounding area or leads directly to the city center of Traunstein (2 km). The small district town of Traunstein has the charm of its Bavarian surroundings. Here you will find many shops, small, nice boutiques, a wide range of gastronomy and cultural offers. Salzburg can be reached in 25 minutes, Munich in just over 1 hour with a direct train connection. It takes about 15 minutes to drive to the nearby Chiemsee, and 40 minutes to the Königsee. Man braucht mindestens 7 Tage um sich an die unterschiedlichen Bodenhöhen anzupassen. Dann liegt die Ferienwohnung unmittelbar an einer Hauptstraße und direkt neben einem Asylwohnheim. Um ins Zentrum zu kommen muss man gut zu Fuß sein es geht nur bergauf. Aug 15, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy Wir waren 17 Tage mit unseren zwei erwachsenen Kindern (und Hund...!) in der Wohnung. Der Check-in war dank einer entsprechenden Vorab-Nachricht der Vermieter und der im Schlüsseltresor hinterlegten Schlüssel absolut problemlos. Frau Benz war während des Aufenthaltes übrigens auch jederzeit extrem hilfsbereit.Das Haus ist sehr ruhig fast direkt an der Traun gelegen und man kann von dort aus direkt eine Wanderung bzw. eine etwas ausgedehntere Gassirunde am Fluß entlang starten.Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und die Innenstadt von Traunstein sind nur wenige Minuten entfernt.Überhaupt kann man von Traunstein aus auch tolle (Tages)Ausflüge starten: Salzburg, München, Ruhpolding, Bad Reichenhall, Berchtesgaden sind sehr gut und schnell erreichbar.Das Strandbad in Chieming mit der herrlichen Bergkulisse ist mit dem Auto in 15 Minuten erreichbar.Die Wohnung selbst ist mit ihren drei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern sehr großzügig und liebevoll und persönlich eingerichtet. Hinzu kommt ein sehr großer Essbereich und ein Wohnzimmer mit drei Sofas und Zugang zum großzügigen Balkon.Die Küche ist ebenfalls sehr geräumig und bestens ausgestattet. Das Haus ist eines der ältesten Häuser in Traunstein und bei dieser Wohnung wurde bei Umbau und Renovierung der aus unserer Sicht beste Kompromiss zwischen modernem Komfort und den baulichen Gegebenheiten gefunden.Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und gleich wieder für nächstes Jahr gebucht. ##### Andreas G. Das Haus befindet sich direkt neben der Traun mit einem schönen Wanderweg, so dass man direkt von der Haustür mit dem Hund loslaufen kann. Traunstein ist fußläufig im Rahmen eines schönen Spaziergangs erreichbar. Aber auch Supermärkte und andere Geschäfte befinden sich in direkter Nähe. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und aufmerksam. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr grosszügig, trotzdem überaus gemütlich und durch die sehr freundliche Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern haben wir uns sofort sehr wohl und wie daheim gefühlt! 😊 Es gibt eine Vielzahl an Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in direkter Nähe. Die direkte Lage an der Traun lädt zu kurzen oder auch längeren Spaziergängen ein, was zu jeder Tageszeit sehr reizvoll ist! Auch unsere Hündin hat an heissen Tagen das flache, sehr klare und saubere Wasser der Traun genossen.... 😉 Ausflugsziele, wie der Waginger See, der Chiemsee oder auch Berchtesgaden und Salzburg sind von Traunstein aus in kurzer Zeit mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir hatten sehr entspannte 10 Tage, können Traunstein, insbesondere der Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und würden auch selbst jederzeit gern wieder wiederkommen! ##### Christian F. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet. Von Toilettenpapier über Seife, alle Kochutensilien, Geschirrtücher, Spülmittel, Mülltüten etc. war alles vorhanden. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Der Empfang mit Schlüsselübergabe im Kästchen ohne persönliche Einweisung ist gewöhnungsbedrftig! Sogleich waren wir überrascht über den schmutzigen Fußboden! Nach nur wenigen Minuten barfuß-gehen waren unsere Fußsohlen schwarz! Eine Schaufel voll Dreck hinter dem Trockner, welcher Anfangs nicht funktionierte! Das wirklich schlimmste Problem ist allerdings der Dauerlärm! Dies wurde auf Anfrage bei Frau Benz so formuliert, als würden halt Anwohner diese kleine Straße als Abkürzung benutzen! Geräuschmäßig fühlte es sich an als wäre man neben einer Autobahn! Der Lärm ist Tag und Nacht, und zwar ständig! Nachts werden die Schlafzimmer in kürzesten Abständen immer wieder von den Autoscheinwerfern beleuchtet, denn die Vorhänge sind viel zu klein, nicht gefüttert und halten das Licht nicht ab! Verläßt man das Haus befindet man sich 1/2 m neben den vorbeirasenden Autos! Von Frau Benz wurde vermittelt, daß die Schlafräume nach "hinten" hinausgehen und somit lärmgeschützt wären! Genau das Gegenteil ist der Fall! Daß für dieses Appartement auch noch 12 € pro Tag für einen kleinen Pudel verlangt werden ist schon bemerkenswert. Die Küche war okay, ebenso das Wohnzimmer. Der Weg an der Traun entlang sehr schön, sofern man unversehrt über die Straßen vor dem Haus zwischen den Autokolonnen hindurchhuschen konnte! Für uns war R U H E oberste Priorität - deshalb hatten wir uns bei Frau Benz explizit danach erkundigt! Wir waren sehr enttäuscht, hatten wir doch vor, im nächsten Jah ##### j-francois r. Liebevoll hergerichtete Schlafzimmer mit bequemen Betten, zwei Bäder mit Handtücher für alle, eine große und toll ausgestattete Küche und Wohnräume mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Kurz gesagt: Wir haben uns alle sehr wohlgefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben! Die Lage direkt an der Traun war perfekt. Wir konnten abends zu Fuß in die Innenstadt laufen und mussten dafür nicht das Auto nehmen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten findet man in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen die Ferienwohnung auf jeden Fall weiter. ##### Gabriele H. Wenn man etwas größer ist, sollte man bei manchen Übergängen in der Wohnung den Kopf einziehen 🥴 Die nahe Traun lädt zur Gassirunde ein und so war der Aufenthalt mit Hund auch kein Problem.
