Wanderung können direkt vom Haus starten - sowohl kleinere als auch größere Touren. Vom Haus aus kann man nicht direkt auf den Lago Maggiore schauen. Dafür muss man ein paar Schritte durch den schönen Ort Trarego gehen. Eine Kleinbushaltestelle ist fußläufig zu erreichen, um nach Cannero Riviera und nach Cannobio zu kommen. Allerdings sind die Busfahrten nicht stündlich. Es gibt einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen und und ein kleineres, nettes Restaurant auch fußläufig zu erreichen.
