The town shops open around 11 a.m. so you can really get away with one overnight stay if not more. Hotel staff were attentive from the moment we booked, to our stay and waving us good-bye. The hotel and garden was very beautiful. On the morning of check-out I went to the hotel’s onsen around 9am and got the whole place to myself ! So relaxing and calming. A unique experience staying in a traditional Japanese ryokan. Dinner and breakfast was a culinary delight! Haru was our host for mealtimes and she was so attentive and added to our overall experience. The whole town is charming and very picturesque and you've got 7 onsens to choose from. All the ryokan provide their guest with Yakata to wear around town which added more charm to the town.
