The hot tub was super relaxing after a long day in Cades Cove. Cades Cove was our reason for the trip and it did not disappoint with seeing many gorgeous bucks, a hog, and several bear! The cabin was such a lovely spot to relax, catch up and enjoy nature. The location made it perfect to get to trails and park without the burden of traffic. The host was so kind giving four women a little extra time to check out the morning of our departure. While we were there we utilized the hot tub and fire pit. The kitchen was tiny, yet efficient and the beds were comfortable. The views were breathtaking, the cabin was spotless, and every little detail made it feel like home. Peaceful mornings on the porch with coffee and quiet nights under the stars were everything we needed. A sample of the owner's/manager's responsiveness: we reported that we couldn't find the lid to the coffee pot. A few hours later, there was brand new coffee pot at the door. (There was no urgency; the Keurig worked fine.) Great location too. Townsend is closest to the national park without the tourist mayhem or towns like Gatlinburg. I highly recommend the Yellow Door Cabin. (I'd love to get back there for fall colors.) ##### Jeff J.
