Very private and we saw a large black bear in the woods just below our cabin. With that said, there were a couple of issues. First, the shower doors would not stay closed. You have to hold door shut with one hand and bath with the other! Also, the cabin was damp and kind of musty smelling. There was actually mold growing on the kitchen pot holder. The room was fantastic and the golf course/club house was great! We loved the mattress so much we bought one for us.
