Views were incredible! Drive to GB/PF was about 40 mins. David was so great and responsive. We saw bears, a coyote, birds, squirrels — but BEARS!! Steps to an entrance to Cades Cove (about 7 miles) and multiple trails. The cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Had everything we needed. Nicer than shown is pictures. Lots of room. Very secluded. Long drive from Townsend up very narrow curvy mountain road. 20 minutes from Townsend. Lots of parking in horse pen at rear of house. Only one shower in upstairs bathroom is somewhat inconvenient. Washer and dryer are located in basement which has to be accessed by walking around house. House is in mountains were all of nature's creatures live, especially bears and snakes. We were visited by a 4+ foot rattlesnake.
