There is room for up to 4 vehicles to park in the two driveways which would even accommodate a trailer with motorcycles. Throughout the year, our guests are also welcome to use the Wild Laurel fitness center and the swimming pool during the summer months. As you enter the great room, the ceilings will tower over you! Beautiful beams adorn the upper spaces as well as a gorgeous brick wood burning fireplace. The open loft will provide hours of family enjoyment with games & seating for making lifelong memories. The fully equipped kitchen is located on the main floor as well. The large middle island offers a ton of counter top space for spreading out and cooking wonderful tasty meals for your family with ease. The dining room provides enough seating for all 8 guests to eat together. On the main floor, you will find the master suite with a king size bed and lots of space. There is an ensuite bathroom with a large standup shower and bathtub. The master suite also has it's own private entrance to the screened in patio. Both of the other private bedrooms are located on the lower level. One bedroom has another king size bed, dresser & closet. The other bedroom has a queen/twin bunk bed and dresser. There is a fully bathroom with a large shower in between these bedrooms. The upper loft is large and wide open to the great room below. It has a sofa sleeper and chair for relaxing & hanging out together. It also has a table for four to play board games & card games. The air hockey table will provide hours of family entertainment as well. The 3rd full bathroom with stand up shower is located here. There is also a twin roll away bed in storage up here for the 10th guest to sleep. MAXIMUM of 10 guests allowed at this cabin. No more than 10 guests allowed on property at all times. SWEET RETREATs outdoor space is lovely as well. The screened in patio is spacious and offers lots of seating for guests to relax and have an early morning coffee listening to nature wake up or a late night glass of wine just in time to unwind. IMPORTANT: Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check in or outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day NO PETS ALLOWED OF ANY KIND, IN THIS CABIN. If a pet is found to have been inside of this cabin, there will be a $1000 clean up fee. MAXIMUM of 10 guests allowed at this cabin. No more than 10 guests allowed on property at all times. Check-In: CONTACTLESS CHECK-IN \*3pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin Check-Out: \*10am - Please follow our check out guidelines. Fireplaces: \*On During: October 1st - April 1st FEES: The management company of this cabin charges a $50 per stay Damage Waiver Fee to every customer. It is automatically included in your rate. This covers our guests for up to $350 worth of accidental damage should damage occur during their stay. If damage occurs to the cabin, furnishings, etc, please report it to management as soon as possible so that the damage can be repaired. You may opt out of paying the $50 damage waiver fee by putting down a $350 REFUNDABLE damage deposit. Common Concerns: \*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins require a 4-wheel drive under normal weather conditions but some do in inclement weather. \*TV & WiFi: We do have TV's and WiFi in almost all of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem. \*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Fall/Winter is ladybug season in the Smokies and these little buggers are attracted to heat, meaning your cabin and every other one out there that is warm! They will swarm to the cabin and you'll probably see them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Rest assured that your cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned, including bug removal, before and after your stay. However, these bugs come back right away and unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes. Please never feed, taunt or approach any wildlife. This is their home and we are the visitors. \*There are no refunds for storms or power outages. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat. Nearby grocery store, drug store, and restaurants. The peace and serenity of the property was a welcomed addition. The thought and care that went into the decor, fully stocked with the essentials (dishes, towels, blankets laundry room) all very well kept and modern. The house was spotless upon arrival. We were able to see wildlife right from our window! Deer, black bears, coyotes it was beautiful. Shopping outlets, Walmart and other retailers were only 30 minutes away if you wanted something that you were unable to find in the neighborhood. The “cabin” was beautiful and really worked well for our family and friends. Tucked away amidst the trees, we had beautiful views and the neighborhood was quiet except for the locusts of course!! Cabin was well appointed and nicely decorated. The communication went smoothly. We did have a little excitement when a bear and her cub were quick to intercept some garbage while we were loading up the car to leave. They were easily shooed off (not very happy about it!), and we got to see them before we left. Overall a very wonderful five days and would highly recommend if looking for peace and the forest experience. If you prefer Myrtle Beach, go to Gatlinburg. :)!! ##### Liz C. Post check out, this company sent me a scathing email falsely stating that I left trash and dirty dishes throughout, and that the cabin was left in disarray resulting in them charging me an additional "cleaning fee". Also, they stated I brought a dog onto the property. In reality, my family’s dog was with me upon check in but did NOT stay at the property, he stayed with family at the campground at Cades Cove, TN. They also claimed there was dog hair inside the cabin - which may be true because we do own 2 dogs (who were not with us), so there may have been dog hair among our belongings when we unpacked. Disturbingly, the property manager admitted to watching us "only on the cameras outside the house” and I promptly then asked them to look at the tape and notice we did take out the trash. I also personally cleaned the kitchen, loaded, and turned on the dishwasher before we departed the cabin. Before and after booking, this company solicited us to rent directly with them to avoid “3rd party booking fees”, which is violation of VRBO policy. Finally, I had my 3 teenage daughters staying in the cabin and all of them spent time in the hot tub located outside the cabin so I am sure the property managers “watched” my daughters from the “multiple outside cameras” on the property. So we did not get to take full advantage of this lovely property as a vacation spot, but it was exactly what our family needed for this busy and bitter sweet gathering. We were on a girls trip to celebrate a friends birthday. This cabin was perfect for four ladies. We had plenty of room and three bathrooms was also handy with four girls. It is in the most gorgeous, peaceful location. The house is beautifully decorated and has so many extras. It was very clean. Beds are comfy. Had a chance to swim at the country club. Everyone was so friendly & the pool was perfect. Wait until you see this view! The kids & hubby can't wait to come back to golf here as well.
