The home has a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. 2 bedrooms with double beds & 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds. A twin blow up mattress can be added to upstairs bedroom to accommodate another person comfortably. 1 bathroom is located upstairs and 1 bathroom is located downstairs, both have showers. All bedrooms have ceiling fans as well as the living room and enclosed porch. Two of the three bedrooms have windows facing the lake so you get the beautiful view first thing in the morning. You can also take in beautiful lake views while sitting at the dining room table as well as sitting in the enclosed porch. The living room is equipped with a flat screen TV as well as DVD player. A gas fireplace is also available for chilly nights. The front of the house has a deck with Adirondack chairs and an eating area which seats 4 people. Additional seating is available down below with 1 large table & a picnic table seating 6 people each. Assorted Adirondack chairs are also available for additional seating. A fire pit is available as well as a gas grill. There are two moorings in the lake for a boat and a jet ski if you care to bring your own. Location - it's on the northeast side of the lake, so to get there we had to go up the west side and back down. a little extra time, but worth it for the privacy. The norther end of the lake feels more like one of the finger lakes and has such a different vibe from the more congested southern end. Waterfront - this is why we came here, and it did not disappoint! There is a concreate seawall at the water's edge with a few steps leading down to the dock, perfect. At the seawall the water was 12-18 inches deep and about 3 1/2 feet deep at the end of the dock with a mix of stone and sand (more stone nearer shore, mostly sandy at the end of dock). plenty of chairs to relax in, and the T shaped dock was great for fishing - we had 4 people out there at any given time with plenty of room. The boat moorings are fairly close to the dock.Inside - well equipped kitchen was perfect for our meal preparations. There is no central air, but one large window unit on the first floor combined with a fan kept the downstairs nice and cool. upstairs, opening the windows and using fans kept things comfortable at night. The layout was very convenient, with one full bath on each floor. The only thing that was lacking, there is no laundry. Overall it felt very cabin like on the inside.Our family had a great time, and we would certainly stay at this property again! ##### David C. The deck easily accommodated our 24' pontoon boat. If you're looking for more action, a location closer to Lake George town might be better suited. However, as a family of introverts, it was just perfect for us. The house offers beautiful sunset views facing Roger Mountain. The house itself is even better than the pictures suggest. The owner is quick to respond, flexible, and reliable. Keep in mind that linens and towels are not provided by default, so make sure to discuss it with the owner. With the lake being so many miles long this location I would say, is the best. There is much less boat traffic being further up the lake where the house is, making it nice for water sport/toys and much quieter not having so many boats zooming by. And really a gorgeous view being across from Rogers Rock. The owners were always available to answer any questions and make sure we had everything we needed. The caretakers even meet us a few miles before arriving at a common landmark and personally drove us to the boat launch where we needed to launch our boat first and then drove us to the house and showed us around, impressive! This was our 3rd straight year staying at this property and we plan to come back again next year! The hosts are wonderful people and the property is perfect for our family. The views of the lake and Rogers Rock are incredible. It was so relaxing. The house is so beautiful - right on the water. It's so quiet. Wifi worked great. No issues connecting at all. The hosts were amazing and responded super quickly to any questions. Overall, an amazing experience that I'd highly recommend. The house was impeccably clean, well stocked kitchen, and the rooms were spacious. The dock and mooring were perfect for hours of jumping and fishing , trips to Hague and beyond. We had so much fun exploring the area and the view cannot be beat. The hosts were delightfully accessible and very helpful with details about launching and mooring our little boat.
