The property was just as advertised and the hosts provided clear instructions and directions about getting there, where to park, accessing the camp site, etc. We stayed on the overlook site, which had a raised wood platform for the tent and was warmer at night for camping in cold temperatures. Was fun to explore the swimming hole and nearby trails."

The river was too raging for any swimming. The only downside was there was a bit of a steep walk down to the site from the parking area, but you do have to go downhill to be near a river."

"We have found this to be far and away the best place in town to stay for a visit to Fort Ticonderoga. Everything is always well maintained, the staff are friendly and helpful, and it's very convenient to have the excellent Burgoyne Grill within the hotel.
