Location was great for getting to many of the sites we wanted to see ie: canandaigua, Hammondsport, Watkins Glen etc. the place felt clean and cared for and updated. Kitchen was well stocked. A bit small for 4 adults but adequate. The “living area” not as comfortable seating as I would have liked, but wouldn’t take it off my list or high score. « This was a truly special visit, and the host and his family were wonderful. Everything in the self-contained unit was attractive and in pristine condition; there was nothing I needed that wasn't supplied. The home is an historic beauty and is in a wonderful neighborhood setting, with easy access to so many historical attractions, hiking, wine-tasting, cafes, etc. I look forward to staying here again during my next visit to the area. »

"As soon as we arrived, the clerk told us how to get to our room, but it wasn't clear. The manager took care of us to show us our room. His purpose was to sell us the dinning facility, and he was a little too pushy for me! The driveway to the check in had a big hole which was easy to fix temporarily with a bag of gravel rock! The front door of our room was filled with sticky leaves from last fall. The environment around the Hotel is splendid. "
