Town of Ephratah Vacation Packages

Conveniently near McD, Taco Bell and gas stations. The front desk was friendly. The rooms were decent. It had the basic amenities. Bathroom is old with cracks and rust on some areas. Shockingly caught a roach walking around. Good for quick stay.

It was our fifth time staying at the Six Flags Lodge in Lake George, and we found out when we got there that the property had changed ownership and management since we were there moving away from Six Flags. We were told when we checked in we would not notice any difference. That was not the case. The adventure park had some improvements, but we were very disappointed that many perks and things we enjoyed at the lodge were done away with. The main one was the breakfast Buffett at the Tall Tavern. Now, for the same price, you could only get specific and very limited plates. Dinner at that restaurant has also changed. They have no menu and only offer 4 basic fast food options. You cannot charge expenses to the room as we used to. Also, at the waterpark they used to have several beers on tap and frozen mocktails that we were looking forward to. They were no longer available and they had only a canned beer. Another fun activity was the huge bucket at the top of the indoor waterpark that would empty when filled completely causing a huge splash. They have changed the setting and it is plain lame now. In terms of cleanness, our room was never cleaned while we were there. There was an envelope to tip the person cleaning and no one showed up during our stay. The floor was wet and the room smelled like humidity. We couldn’t find a way to dry out the room, and the bathing suits were not drying. We have loved our experiences there in the past and are seriously considering not going back.

Great hotel!

The location was terrible. The hotel with no appeal. I was locked out of my room for a while as key card system was broken. The lady working was very friendly and apologetic however. But I would never choose to stay here again. I ended up leaving early.
