"We stayed in the cabin called The Love Shack. We chose Silver Gate for the close proximity to Lamar Valley in Yellowstone. Communication was very clear with regard to checking in and Chris was wonderful to us. We also enjoyed hanging out around the fire at the store and visiting with everyone. We have stayed in Silver Gate several times and I hope people will flock to your wonderful town after last year’s flood. We will definitely be returning and appreciate the hospitality."

"This is an older motel but very clean. It is the perfect place to unplug. Even if you dont want to. This wasn't a big deal for me but it might be for others. The only place the wifi works is at the office/camp store, no cell service and no tv's. It was very relaxing to sit around the camp fire each night. The rooms are clean but small. The shower was also very small."

"Silver Gate Lodging is located only 2-3 miles from the NE entrance to Yellowstone. The room has been remodeled and was comfortable. The property manager greeted us promptly at the counter in the General Store. She gave us a quick rundown of other businesses nearby for food, coffee, etc. She offered free internet while sitting on the General Store front porch. The other guests were very friendly with a community type atmosphere around the fire pit. The Log Cabin Cafe across the road is delicious...
