It's far bigger than my husband & I needed (we usually stay at less expensive, 1 bdr VRBO's) but I picked this one specifically for it's hot tub & fireplace ... & "bonus" basement pool table (in case of incliametint weather). Turns out we never left the rental ...we had an easy two and a half drive here, followed by a Massive winter storm across all of NY State (bad snow, ice & "Winter Advisories" in every direction) and we laughed as we watched the snow turn into ice in my hair while we "weathered" the storm from the hot tub; then enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets through the huge picture window as we warmed up in front of the fireplace. A special "Thank You" to the owners (Matt was a pleasure to speak with on the phone when I needed to communicate something) for having the fireplace ready to light up when we walked in... even the pool table was "racked" & ready to play! The amount of "staples" & cooking "gear" in the kitchen was almost overwhelming (I dare you to try to "miss" something you need to cook while there) & things like the plastic wrap & coffees/teas & sugar options were all greatly appreciated, along with the easily accessible & endless supply of firewood. We also found the bed & sheets to be both cozy & comfortable. Thank you for a perfect "stay in/lay low/rest & relax" Christmas! ##### Unspecified U.
