The beds are comfortable. Unfortunately our room smelled of smoke and we didn’t get the room I had booked. I had low expectations with respect to the stay as the rates were low. I was surprised with the level of comfort and the room size. The breakfast was basic though. The restaurant of the hotel was overpriced and the food was not good nor were there decent portion sizes. We booked a non-smoking room but the entire hallway was filled with cigarette smoke. Our room even had cigarette smoke coming through the vent in the bathroom and filled our room with that same smoke. Has a few dining options around the hotel. Like most small cities/towns, they mostly close early(8-9pm). So eat early, or resort to 711/familymart food. Hotel is currently under renovations. This has not impacted my sleep/stay. I did not hear any noise during my stay. Rooms are clean. The staff at the reception are very friendly. They fixed an error for me. I didnt know I selected a smoking room. The receptionst was able to put me in a non smoking room. I would stay with them again when im back in Totori.
