"Brilliant location, virtually on the beach. Garden and balcony perfect for dogs and facing into the (beautiful) sunset. Apt comfortable and has all amenities altho beds a little small. Good local restaurants, 2 easily walkable and many others in easy reach, and lots of good (dog) walks and beaches locally and within 15 mins in the car. "
"The hotel was exceptional. Location was fantastic - very near to bus stop, walking distance to the beach, a convenience store is nearby, there is a lovely restaurant within walking distance. The hotel itself was absolutely lovely - clean, cosy, comfortable. Just perfect. Wendy & Steve was the best. Would definitely come back.
If anything, just one thing to be aware of - you need to up one flight of stairs to get to the bedrooms."
"Vicki and Mike are so lovely and welcoming! The room is very clean and spacious. Felt really comfortable staying, and it's relatively easy to get to, also close to Totland Bay/The Needles. Would highly recommend, and definitely stay again in the future when we visit Isle of Wight again."
"Wonderful location for the west side which is wilder and very beautiful. Everything you need at the cottage,.Total peace and quiet -so relaxing. The owners very kindly left us some wine and treats, much appreciated. We did think a mattress topper would have been very welcome but the beds were good. Everything was very clean and covid conscious. Pleasant garden to sit in, fenced for children and pets. Good places to eat but book ahead. Enjoy.
Very clean and a pleasant garden to sit in and unwind."

"Lovely hotel with sea view, beautiful room and so clean, staff are very friendly and helpful, loved the hotel being so close to the beach, breakfast had a good selection of food and so lovely we ate outside enjoying the sea view, the restaurant Brassierre Blanc was also lovely, the food was very good, only thing I would complain about is how long each course it took to come out, we had to wait 45 mins just for our starter after having the nibbles, then another very long wait for the mains etc, it took 2 half hours in total just for the two of us and most of that time was waiting for all the courses, other than that a great stay, thank you "

"I was staying at the Village because my dad was in the Royal Bournemouth hospital across the road.
Last year I stayed in a village hotel in Farnborough and vowed never to stay in a “Village” hotel again, the experience was awful. Imagine my disappointment when I turned up in Bournemouth to find I’d booked a hotel in the same group. HOWEVER…..
This hotel could not have been more different. The cleanliness, the helpful staff, facilities and the rooms were fab. And I was very happy with the price.
The staff should get a special mention because they bent over backwards, nothing was too much trouble. I managed to pour scolding hot tea over my ribs. I went down to reception where the young woman on the desk went into Florence Nightingale mode and helped me out with a pretty nasty burn.
10/10 for me. Thank you Village Hotel Bournemouth. "
