Über eine lange, unbefestigte Straße mit vielen Steinen und Schlaglöchern erreichten wir den Fuß des Berges, den wir erklimmen mussten. Mit einem Abgrund neben mir ging ich langsam den Berg hinauf, was schon ein Abenteuer war, in der Hoffnung, dass kein Gegenverkehr kam. Aber nach einer Weile wurde es schlimmer; es wurde unglaublich steil und ich hatte links und rechts etwa einen halben Meter Vorsprung. Die Kurven waren so scharf, dass meine Räder rutschten. Ich war so froh, dass niemand kam, sonst hätte ich den Berg hinunterfahren müssen. Mit einem Beifahrer im Auto, der einen Autounfall hatte, war ich gezwungen, meinen Urlaub abzubrechen. Wir sind an die Berge in Andalusien gewöhnt, aber das war wirklich ein ganz anderes Level und außergewöhnlich. Und bei der Ankunft gibt es ein Willkommenspaket mit Obst, Wasser und einer Flasche Wein – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen!
