Beautiful Lake right on the door step with the view of the mountains. We had a rental car and drove into the park, only 10 minutes away, to do day hikes and a kayak tour. We loved having our cozy woodstove and own small kitchen to make breakfast and lunch. We ate dinner at the lodge each night and it was delicious! The staff are personable and told us the best trails to hike. Views of the park are awesome from the lodge and nice walking trails to the river from our cabin. We were a group of 4 and this was one of the most reasonably-priced places we could find. The cabin we had was very cozy, and host had fireplace going when we arrived. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We did have the dinner at the lodge, which was expensive, but very tasty. We had plenty of room and enjoyed the horses grazing around our cabin each day. The lodge was cozy and the food was delicious. We had breakfast each morning, a boxed lunch for our hikes and adventures, and had dinner at the lodge twice. Carina and Gabby made such delicious food and made us feel so welcome and comfortable! Patrick went out of his way to help us plan our days based on the weather, how ambitious we were for hiking, and how to see the most wildlife. Patrick and Karina were extraordinarily wonderful hosts. They did everything to make sure our stay was delightful, and it was! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The wood stove warmed the cabin completely and made it so cozy. The dinners and breakfasts were delicious. Karina is a marvelous cook and both she and Patrick go the extra mile to make their guests happy. They lent us their binoculars and sold us some gas when we ran low. They even gifted us some mugs and Chilean spices that we really liked. Patrick & Karina are amazing hosts, always attentive to our needs and overall experience at the lodge. We were so grateful for their thoughtful attention to detail, and the overall property was a dream. We spent our time here while exploring Torres del Paine National Park, which was just a 5-10minute drive to the entrance. The cabins were built in 2018 which such a careful thought to experiencing local materials and the majestic Rio Serrano. We arranged for a private trekking guide for Torres Base hike, and it was such an educational and inspiring journey with Cata and Camilo. Our breakfast was included with our stay, and also had their dinner service - delicious! Both Patrick and Karina are excellent Chefs! One of the worries we had before going was if we would be warm enough since we are traveling during winter season, and the fireplace in each cabin is so warm, and the smell of firewood kept us so cozy throughout the night hours. As a bonus we met their full crew pet friends - Carnaval, Mimi, Doo and Pulgas (neighbor dog). All so adorable and make the experience so loving. We would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a stay which is more immersed into nature and less touristic areas. Also, we avoided having to go to Puerto Natales for gas, a 1.5 hour drive, as Patrick was able to supply the gas we needed to return to town.
