Almost froze to death in the cold. No one answered the doorbell when I arrived at 9PM. The place is in a boring and bleak parking lot near the airport. Super disappointing.

my stay was non existent as when we tried to call to arrange check in nobody answered and all we got was a voicemail for a woman called Karen we went to the place anyway and spent half hour ringing the bell people turned lights on and then turned them back off and ignored us I really hope I get my money back because this was a joke so basically seeing as you can't get in anyway you may as well save your money and spend the night at the airport providing of course that you not planning on getting any sleep at all.

It's Really a Hostel
It's really a Hostel. A partially converted second floor office space. I booked only 2 days in advance and by the time they notified me by email that the A/C was down and it was really hot, I did not have time to re-book elsewhere. The said there were windows that opened but they were very small, not like the ones in the photo. I did see that unit when I left but mine was not like that. There was a lot of space in the room and if the A/C was working it would have been a good value for the cost. Staff was very polite and helpful. They need to supply maps and directions for getting there from the airport because walking there is anything but clear with all the express roadways and bridges. It's probably only a one kilometerm walk - I suggest going on google maps/earth for a visual and directions from the viscount station.

Nap Station is very close to YYZ
Nap Station is very close to YYZ but not walkable. We have to learn to take monorail link from Terminal 1 at YYZ to Viscount station, then Taxi ($6.50) to Nap Station.

You get what you pay for
I guess you get what you pay for. I only needed a place to stay before flying out of Toronto early the next morning. The 'nap station' seemed like such a great concept and the photos looked great. What they didn't tell us was that this was an abandoned old office building in the airport area where they tried to make it look like a hotel. Luckily I still had my rental car as it wasn't easy to get to - and luckily my GPS on my phone took me right to the place. The reception area was nice and the girl who greeted me was professional and helpful. What I didn't like however was that the room smelled like mothballs when I got in there. The towel they gave me wasn't that clean, I wondered about how clean the bedding actually was, the room had other doors that were locked and I didn't know what was behind them. And although it was advertised that the bathrooms were shared, I felt so isolated in the middle of the night when I got up to walk down the hall to use the rest room. Was there any security in the building? Who else was staying there? What if I met someone in the hallway at 2 am? It gave me an eerie feeling and I was glad to finally leave at 5:30 am.

To be frank with this price I only expected a clean bed and a shower, but what I got was far beyond my expectation. The hostel looked like an isolated house from its outside appearance, but the inside was so nice and comfortable. The public spaces were large and bright, with nice and clean desks so you could do some work there. There was a kitchen if you like to cook by yourself. The bedroom I resided in was very quiet and had a large bed and a nice couch. There were not many bedrooms (8 I believe?), so although you get shared shower and restrooms, there's no need to wait. And everything was very clean. The people there are very nice too. The day before I arrived there I received an email from Karen asking about my check-in time and describing the place in detail (with shared showers and bathrooms, etc.). They also showed me how to take the free train to the airport. I don't usually write reviews on expedia but I do want to recommend this place. It is not a fancy hotel, but to a traveller who wants to stay one night or two near the airport it is absolutely a good choice. Just remember to check your email before the day you check in.

Nice convenient location close to the airport, just a bit sketchy looking. Earlier departures could be heard leaving by the slamming of the exit door, otherwise prefect for a quick stop over.

Great for sleeping
The owners were very nice and give you a brief tour and show you to the room! The neighborhood is pretty industrial so it was a bit off-putting at first but the interior of the building was nice including the room. It's proximity to the airport is great and you don't hear any planes taking off or landing! For the purpose of my trip it was a good option because I only needed to spend the night. I wouldn't recommend staying for multiple nights unless you bring a laptop or something for entertainment.

Excellent lay-over rest
This is not a place where you want to stay if you are visiting Toronto. But is an excellent place if you need to sleep for a few hours if you have a long layover at the airport, like I did. The staff is excellent, Karen sends you an email explaining everything you need to know, and you can have a good rest before your transfer flight takes off again.

I got to Toronto in the late night. That't why I made a reservation a hotel close to the airport. But that hotel is located at very complicated place. Even thought I tell the taxi driver the address, we could not make a direction. The hotel does not look like hotel. But hotel staff was amazing kind. I really love this staff. Room is clean and comfortable.

Noise from the heating system made sleep impossibl
The hotel was easy to find and the staff there were friendly and accommodating. Check in was quick and simple. Room was a good size and had very comfy beds. Everything was as expected with the booking. The sound of the heating system however, made it IMPOSSIBLE to sleep for more than 30 minutes at a time for the entire night. It would turn on (it was in the ceiling in the middle of the hotel room) with a loud crunching noise and then continue to make a very loud noise for about 15 minutes straight. (The constant sound after it kicking on would have been manageable if not started each time with the loud crunching noise.) Although the hotel itself was fine and as expected, not being able to sleep made it awful. This was the only reason we stayed - somewhere to sleep overnight for an early morning business meeting. Needless to say, the next day was exhausting and the 2+ hour drive home at the end of the day was excruciating. For the noise reason alone, I would not recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Nap Station recently to sleep between connecting flights and it was a great experience! Karen (lady in charge) was very accommodating, waited for our flight to land in the early hours of the morning to make sure we were well taken care of upon our arrival (which we were). The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are clean. I would definitely recommend the Nap Station to any fellow travelers, especially those traveling via TO Pearson Airport.

A great idea poorly executed
Nondescript entry way to an idea that should be expanded and promoted. Not staffed around the clock and was described by the one employee who met me there as a "hostel." (She was extremely pleasant, but left as soon as I checked in.) Bathroom facilities were questionable and the floor in my room grungy. I actually didn't feel particularly secure staying there. Didn't see any of the other guests, but no assurance who or what they might be.

Comfy mattress!
Not immediately obvious from the outside that it was Nap Station. They acknowledge that it is more of a hostel than a hotel. Seems to be the offices of a company marketing a premium mattress which have been converted into 5 hotel rooms. Very friendly lady on reception but she is only there when clients check in. Air conditioning was a bit powerful and not controllable in the room. Took 10 minutes to walk to the end of the monorail to the airport, once I had worked out the route. Some decent eateries nearby but really need a car or cab to get there. Those of a nervous disposition might be concerned by the two storage tanks of jet fuel the other side of the road...

Great for a nap
Very basic and located in an industrial area near the airport. Perfect for a quick nap before catching a red-eye flight out of Toronto Pearson. Can't beat the price.

I would start by saying that the hostel seem very secure as I did not come at the appointed check in time except to email the hostel a day before with my expected arrival time,they was a bell to ring with intercom and camera at the locked entrance door. I rang a few times with no avail. I therefore called the hostel and got the owner who sent someone to let me in. The place looked clean and had a few lock doors doors plus lots cameras. There was also motion sensor within the room, and we hope that it was only a motion sensor. There was one shower to share for all the rooms and you could see part of a tile to the ceiling missing in the shower. There were lots of toilets and sinks available, but needed to be cleaned up better when it came to be used as storage for supplies in the washroom. There also a large kitchen and eating space within the general eating area. The picture on the site of the room is Correct. The bed was very comfortable as it had controls to adjust pressure of the bed for both sides. I was told by the owner that the place sell bed as there business. Therefore they like a living in Akiea . Therefore I suggest that if you just need a place to crash for sleep, this may be the place for you.

Perfect place to sleep during a long layover!
I needed a place to lay my head for about 6 hours before catching a flight, and the Nap Station was PERFECT! It is very close to the airport, has VERY comfortable beds, and the room was very dark and quiet, which allowed me to get to sleep quickly and maximize the time I had there. I travel a lot and often have long layovers, but I'm not willing to pay for an entire hotel room for just a few hours sleep. I wish there were more Nap Stations in other cities! The building appears as if they're still finishing up the decor in some areas, but everything was still tidy and very clean. There is a kitchen area and sitting area outside of the rooms as well. The Nap Station was exactly what I needed, and I will definitely stay there again on a layover in Toronto.

Crappy, junkyard, insecure and terrible staff
After reserving the room with Expedia, I received a welcome email from the manager. Then after few hours, they said they have over booked the hotel, so they cancelled my reservation. I requested them that in a short time (just 18hrs before my arrival), I won't be able to find another hotel as I have other things to do as well in Toronto. Then the manager reserved a room for me. Eight hours before the arrival, I once again received an email saying the water heater is not working, so I may cancel my booking. But I decided to stick with the booking as I had other more important businesses as well. When I reach there, I was surprised to see that there is no "Nap Station" Hotel. It is a hostel with no signs and in a very secluded places. The owners were there but no manager. When I asked about the manager, with whom I booked my room, the owners told me that she works remotely. And to my surprise, all the rooms were vacant - no occupant. No car in the parking lot. I decided not to stay and then the manager started behaving in a weird manner. When I objected, they said sorry. They asked me to cancel my booking from Expedia. But they decided not to pick up phone from Expedia and instead charge my Credit card. I contacted Expedia but they said that they can't do anything. I wish I could have called police and showed them that place.

Okay for a few hours of sleep
This hotel is great for a quick nap! Rooms are clean and well kept with friendly staff. It was very hot in the room and you couldn't adjust the temperature. Quiet for the most part but you can hear anyone talking out in the halls. Wouldn't expect a full nights sleep here, but great for a few hours of sleep just before you catch your flight at pearson!

Good for a cheap NAP if you have a car.
The 'hotel' is being converted from a 2 story office building. There is no sign out front so had to phone them only to find I was right in front of it. It is still mainly office space. My room looked nothing like the pictures on the internet. It was 11' x 10' with a very nice queen bed, an office credenza as the desk and a 5' x 4' white board on the wall. No closet to hang clothes. That was it. I knew it was as shared washroom but did not know the shower was also shared. Staff were very helpful. Not sure if it would be noisy during the day if one stayed for that 12 hour period.
