Our first night was great - 5stars. However we booked in to come back and they had given away our room and sent us up to a room with a single bed without even advising us of their switch. So at 10pm, tired and an early morning ahead of us we then had to wait for reception, wait for a call to the Mgr and then go to another hotel. Yes, they helped find us a spot, but we ended up having to pay more and didn't even get an apology.
Not sure of the point of reserving a specific room if they feel they can just make switches and not consult you. The extra insult was having to pay more even though the front desk at this hotel confirmed the next Holiday Inn would match the rate.
We were told the Manager would contact us, he didn't and hasn't been worth more of my time to chase down.
Otherwise, the hotel itself was awesome, but the Holiday Inn process and mgmt, well, that was lacking.
