The review template asks what is unique about this property . I can just say that this "property " is the most unique (in a good way) hotel I have ever stayed at. I have lived and worked on 4 continents for the last 30 years and never stayed in a living breathing Art Gallery . Being such a Irish traveler/gypsy , I particulary loved my room that had all the trappings of a 1950's movie (except in Colour of course) with the "wirelesses " , the 1950 suitcases (with the hidden TV ) etc Bravo!

The physical property was great. Good decor, restaurant etc. However, on Saturday Nov. 2nd they hosted a very large, loud and raucous weeding reception which continued well into the wee hours of the morning. For sure, at least past 3 AM on Sunday 3rd Nov.

This hotel was so cool, I wish I'd had more time to stay in my room and check it out! The elevator needs to be operated by staff, but I never had to wait more than two minutes for somebody to take me up or down, and it was well worth it to have an accessible century-old building. I had the puzzle room, which was really interesting, and the displays in the lobby were very cool as well. The bathroom was really teeny tiny, but everything worked great and the location couldn't be better. Breakfast in the café was awesome, too. Will definitely be back when I can stay longer!
