The location is the ONLY positive about this place. The parking garage was a nightmare. Iman who met us was friendly but gave us no direction. One of 2 elevators did not work (tenants told us that it was out of service for 3 weeks) so waiting for the elevator was only an option if you wanted to wait a very long time so, we took 15 flights of stairs every time. Our apartment was supposed to be 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with showers and our room had 1 full bathroom and a half bathroom. I contacted our vrbo representative and she didn’t text me back. Fire Alarm went off at 4:30 am Saturday and Sunday morning. No hot water or water pressure on Saturday and Sunday (received this info via text). ##### Bob M. We notified property managers immediately, and then had to wait over 3 hours to be moved to a different unit, which did have 2 bathrooms, but was still very small. The change booking wasn't identified by the agent, and only acknowledged when I contacted them about the change once we were checked in. The reason provided was the original condo booking had been flooded, so they were trying to rebook their clients into remaining available units. Financial compensation wasn't offered; I had to ask for a partial refund; alternate booking wasn't a possibility until the last day of our stay. Lifted flooring due to previous water damage (dishwasher) was a tripping hazard; decor also could use upgrading. Challenges-check in the as good because they accommodated our flight changes, but we got very confused with elevators and entrances as we had to be brought in a different way. Then they showed us the room that we did reserve and found that one of the beds was broken and cleaning supplies left in the bathroom sink. The other bathroom shower had bad stains of some kind on the floor tiles. Also there wasn’t enough glasses and cups for 4 people. Not sure who checks the rooms before the rooms are given out to guests.That was very disappointing when first arrive. We were told that was what was in their system and ignored what I showed them as my VRBO booking. I was told there were no other vacancies (obviously overbooked) and had to stay in the one bedroom the first night and could move to a two bedroom the second night. I asked for a discount and received a measly $100 credit. When one of the staff showed up the second day she took us to a different building and couldn't help us when I asked about how to get our car out of the first buildings parking garage. Again, I was provided with no assistance. The last morning I had to wait until a car exited/entered and tailgated into to get my car and then go pay to park it in a public garage near the second apartment. ##### Mike J. Séjour de 3 nuits en août 2024 ### 2/10 – Terrible #### David S. 15 août 2024 Points faibles : Propreté #### Misleading Posting The only positive note was the location of the unit to all of the attractions as stated in the listing. Would like to note that the building has 48 floors and only 3 elevators so you should expect to wait. The pictures on the listing were not of the unit we stayed in. After check-in text from owner, he responded to no text or phone messages. You pick up your key from a lock box hung on a bike rack at a coffee shop around the block. Sheets on MB were covered with hair and had to be washed before we used them. Smoke alarm was covered with plastic rendering it useless. Rug in MB had a giant stain and overall looked dirty. Exhaust vent in second BR was plugged with dust and therefore not working very well. No instructions were given on the automatic blinds remote control. Once I figured it out only one of the blinds would operate. From troubleshooting I think they all need their batteries replaced. One blind in 2nd BR motorized unit was hanging from its wire. Thermostat for A/C was programmed for 85F and only allowed you to override it for a couple hours at a time. The A/C never effectively cooled the unit due to all the blinds in the up position and filter probably needing replaced based on lack of air flow from the vents. TV mounted in MB in front of the vent did not help. Wi-fi instructions from owner with check-in text were in accurate. The wi-fi network that was given did not exist. We took a blind chance and we were not disappointed. The furniture is all IKEA, which is the only downfall to these units. Hopefully, the owners will upgrade to comfort-style furniture and bedding to offer better comfort. Everything is nearby with plenty of attractions. We booked a property with a nice leather couch and checked into a unit with a trundle bed in the living room. The unit is all IKEA furniture, had scuffs on the walls, toilet paper holder falling off the wall. The unit is LOUD and bright! Bring an eye mask and ear plugs because you will hear traffic, sirens, and honking all night. During check in process we had to wait quite a while for someone to help us into the garage and unit. One of the showers did not have consistent hot water. It fluctuated and at times wouldn’t get hotter than room temperature. Not at all forth the price we paid! Disappointed. ##### Lauren S.
