The pool and hot tub were closed upon arrival, but open later that night. The pool area looked like a YMCA pool. No plants, ambiance at all and the water was not crystal clear. The temperature of the hot tub was less that hot, I didn't feel comfortable in it and got out within minutes. The room looked and felt clean, but the furniture looked like a Mish mash of thrift store pieces. I certainly wasn't expecting the Biltmore but felt it could be better.

It was walking distance to Woodbine. The restaurant next-door and good food.

We stayed here last year, the staff was very friendly but the facilities were dated. The staff was so great last time that we decided to stay again, the rooms are still dated however they have done some upgrades. Staff was still very friendly and accommodating. If you are going for the pool perhaps pick another location, the pool needs some work. The jets in the hot tub were not working and the tile was falling apart in some places but it was very clean. Overall another wonderful stay, we will probably be back again.

Nice, clean hotel to stop overnight. We were driving to Ottawa so this was a good cheap choice. Go eat at Zet's, huge portions and good food. It s only 7 min drive from the hotel.

Don't Book Here!

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Honour their reservations, and don't blame errors on computers. If they can't manage their computer system, use the old fashioned way - paper.
I booked this hotel over 2 months in advance. I phoned the hotel from Vancouver to confirm my reservation, and to reconfirm that I was arriving very late (1:00 AM) and to hold my room. They said everything was fine. I arrived about 1:15 AM to find that they had oversold the hotel by 15+ rooms, and there was nothing for me as well as the 3 other guests there trying to make other arrangements. A couple with a 6 year old were on a stopover - they got roll-away beds in the conference room! Two other men left while I was waiting to figure out what to do. I called the Expedia number and they were helpful - turned out that when I got the Expedia manager on the phone with the hotel. low and behold, they found a room. It was not nice, it was not clean, very shabby but it was a bed with a shower for the morning. At 2:45 AM I got into my room. In the morning I spoke to the day manager. She apologized and said it was a computer error - blame it on technology!! She was supposed to refund my cost. I haven't seen it yet but will check when I get home. Very disappointing experience and a crappy way to start my holiday!

Enjoyable Stay!

Pros: The staff was great! Room was clean!
Cons: Pool cleaned and area painted, repair jets in hot tub
Location: Island, Lighthouse, Lake views, Casa Loma was great! We paid the $10 to park and take photos did not spend the $80 to tour inside. (2 Adults & 2 kids)
We actually loved most everything about this place! The one thing we noticed was the pool could have been cleaner. The whole pool area could have used a coat of paint as well as a good cleaning. Also only one of the jets in hot tub worked.

Convenient for the airport

Pros: It provided a shuttle bus to the airport and had a restaurant attached. It had tea and coffee available in the reception area.
Cons: The hotel is a little tired but had everything we needed for a short stay.
Location: It was close to Sears and Hudson Bay as well as a few other shops in the mall.
Having had our flights cancelled, this hotel was very convenient as we waited for the next available flight. There was a swimming pool and gym but we did not have our swimsuits or gym clothes with us. The staff were very helpful.
