Overall ok but nothing great. Pop machines empty or broken. Beds old and uncomfortable.

Pros: Location to my work and price

Location: Woodbine race track. Close to airport
OK experience . Did not try the restaurant. Enough parking.

It's not worth the pay

Posted 24-Mar-2016
Cons: Improved their customer service!
We have no choice but stay in a hotel closeby Toronto Airport cause our flight to New York is cancelled due to snow storm signal. So we called and booked thru expedia and they referred this hotel to us. We paid $139 for that night and we're so disappointed. The staff we spoke with in the reception to confirm shuttle schedule is not friendly. We called them 3x and they just keep on saying that shuttle will arrive soon and we need to wait with some other passengers in a waiting area outside and it's so inconvenient for us cause it is snows hard. When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist are not accommodating. One guy before us is actually disappointed as well because of the attitude of the two girls in the reception that night March 1, 2016. The building is old, the room is old, the overall ambience is terrible. It's not worth the pay. We actually regret of calling expedia and ask them to find a hotel for us. If only they're gonna put us in that hotel, i'll just do the booking myself. The overall experience was disappointing.

Great hotel close to the airport

Posted 14-Mar-2016
Pros: Clean quiet room, close to the airport.
Location: There is a restaurant right downstairs and a Tim Hortons within walking distance
We stayed here when we had to overnight in Toronto between flights. They have a free shuttle. Once you collect your luggage, call them and then they’ll meet you at pillar C22 about 15 minutes later. The drive to the hotel takes about 10 minutes. Check-in was friendly and speedy. We had a reservation and everything was ready to go. Our room on the 9th floor was boiling hot when we got in there, so we opened the window and turned the AC on while we went to dinner in the restaurant downstairs. It was fine by the time we got back up. We had a comfortable sleep in the king-size bed and we did not get bothered by the planes or any other noise which was surprising considering how close it is to the airport. Got up early and had a nice shower and then took the shuttle back to the airport. The only negative things I might say, is that the shuttle van needs a good cleaning. I would recommend this hotel to anyone doing a quick layover in the Toronto area.

Grand cayman stopover

For the price it was good as we were on a stop over from the airport. We were a little disappointed with the restraint area as it is a little run down and could use a makeover.

Two nights at Comfort Hotel

Posted 23-Feb-2016
Pros: Everything. Room, swimming pool, atmosphere, attached restaurant.
Cons: Well, it's a hotel, not home. A nice place away from home.
Location: Our primary objective was to be near Pearson and have use of a shuttle. We were surprised to find the mall and indoor amusement park nearby.
Comfort Hotel North was very comfortable, quiet, clean, and safe. Lovely restaurant/bar near lobby. Dancing on Saturday night. Shuttle to airport exactly on time. Woodbine Mall with children's amusement park (weekends) nearby. Very fine service.

Not a high end hotel but definitely a comfortable place to stay as long as you don't expect slot in service.
