The bathroom was professionally designed, including detailed tile work and shiplap walls. All 3 bedrooms are spacious with pillow top mattresses. Near THE FARMERS' MARKET, ( from Spring to every Saturday until November 3.) Highway close and convenient but far enough away you don't hear it. Ice cream truck comes by the house every Saturday! Chela and Claudia do a wonderful job as experienced experts in preparing the home for your stay. To insure our guests safety, we have increased the frequency of cleaning door handles, outlets, walls and have continued the use of high grade disinfectant. All linens, bedding, mats are laundered between guests. As it has always been, the safety and security of our guests and team members remains our highest priority. Chela, Claudia, maintenance, my husband Larry, and myself all comprise a service team of five people to oversee the care and condition of 9 houses. We are scaled to the right size to allow for the time to give plenty of attention to the care of each and every guest home. This home is used exclusively for vacation rentals. All rooms, except the laundry room are on one level. There is a step up to enter the home. The basement is unfinished but has a washer and dryer that guests are welcome to use. Absolutely no smoking in the home. There will be a $150.00 fee for any guests smoking in the home. In addition we will ask guests to be responsible for any fees resulting in the incoming guests having to be relocated due to smoking in the home, damage, and/or unauthorized late check out. We were all very comfortable, & the dogs settled in very quickly. It was perfect for 5 adults and an infant. We had plenty of room and the large back yard was a plus. The kitchen has everything to prepare meals. There was a large amount of towels and bedding. It is very easy to get around town from the area. Loved the fenced yard for our 2 small dogs that they could actually chase a couple squirrels and be off leash. Home is older but in nice shape and interior is clean. We enjoyed our visit and will hopefully be able to rent again next visit up to see family. Not a ton to do in Topeka, but my friend and I were meeting half way to hang out for a weekend so we didn’t mind just staying in. Only negative thing was the weird mirror in the corner of the third room, both of us thought it was a strange place for it. Neither of us stayed in that room so it didn’t bother us, but we did question it. Other than that, great place! ##### Meggan C. However, there was not a door to close off the basement, and the basement was clearly under renovation and left unprotected. There was also water infiltrating the basement and the whole house was overly humid and smelled of mildew. This property is described as 5-star, great for families and allows pets. The coffee bar was fully stocked and had drip, K-cup and cold press equipment!The listing says the bathroom is "Shower or bathtub". It is actually a tub/shower combination.
