I had a confirmed reservation about a month before my trip. Two days before my trip I received an email to confirm my reservation. I followed the instructions to confirm my trip. The day before my trip I received an email that my reservation was canceled. I called as soon as I received the email (about noon). I got the voicemail and left a message to please call to find out what was going on with my reservation. No call. I called again about 8 pm. Still voice mail, left message, no one called. After not hearing back, I made a reservation elsewhere, at about twice the price. The day I was supposed to check in, they called and left a voicemail for me at about 3 pm. I was out cell signal on the way there. So, I got to town and checked into my new hotel. I had not noticed the voicemail come in while I was driving. About 6 pm the day I was supposed to check in they called back and told me they still had a room for me. Thanks after I already paid double the room rate due to last minute booking. So, if took them 27 hours to return a call to see if my reservation wAs canceled. When I finally talked to some one, she just blamed the weekday people.

Heather was super helpful with our needs and moved us to the best room for our family. She cleaned it herself and did a wonderful job. This hotel had everything we needed on our journey and we're so grateful. More towels and a bigger trash can would be helpful.

The staff was very responsive to a complaint about the lack of TV remote and gave us another. The shower faucets need to be replaced, and the staff were already speaking with the handyman about the topic when I went to the office.

This place is abandoned. No staff on site; room key was left in a public area. Entered room & found it had but been cleaned since last use. Toilet was full of “stuff.” Tried numerous times to contact someone all to no avail. No one on site next morning either.

Sheet was clean - just hairy
It was a very affordable accommodation. I'm sure the bed sheets were clean, but in our room with two queen beds, my bottom bedsheet was very old as it was thin with age. There was an unusual amount of hair that had been intertwined due to washing. Both chairs in the room were missing the bottom support, so when you sat down, it felt like you were sitting in a bucket.

I stay here for the assembly I attend in Tonopah twice a year. I have been there four time. This is the second time I have stayed here and the room was not cleaned when I arrived. This trip I even called and let them know we would be arriving later than check in. The woman that took my call even said great we will have your room ready and a key will be in your mail box. The toilet still had feces in it and the shower was filthy The beds were made up. But I don’t think the bedding was changed.

good location
Our room window was broken. It was ok as it was not busy- but would have preferred not to have broken pieces in my window. room was clean but old. the check in was easy, young lady was very friendly. location is great for walking taking in the shops. we would stay there again

This motel is old and very funky, but generally clean and with a good bed. As a place to stay while crossing Nevada, it is adequate if you're not too picky.

Customer service? What customer service?
Love the location. Issues: The office closed at 8p, although the website says check-in is until 930p. They did leave keys outside the door for our 2 rooms on the reservation, so when we arrived at 810p, we could still get into our rooms. (Safety concern?) What was frustrating was the lack of customer service. Posted office hours are 7a to 8p. In the first room of the reservation, we had no bath towels, only two small hand towels. I went by the office multiple times between 7a and 8a to try to get towels. By the time we left at 8a, the office still wasn't open and calls to the office to request towels (with message left) went unanswered. In the second room, there was a dirty glove left on the floor from a previous guest or cleaning and only two towels for 4 registered guests. Again, no one was in the office so additional towels couldn't be requested. This property would not allow us to prepay through Hotels.com and preferred us to pay on site. Great! We wanted to pay cash for the room anyways. However, because no one was in the office during scheduled office hours, and no call returned, that didn't happen. I'm sure my cc is on file (through Hotels.com where I made the reservation) and will eventually be charged, but nothing had happened yet, and the hotel has yet to return my call. It is a great location in Tonopah, but I highly suggest you arrive WAY before 8p so you can deal with any customer service issues while someone is still in the office!

First, the carpet was filthy, i did not want to take my shoes off! sat on the bed, it was as hard s a table! Literally! Might as well sleep on the floor. Then sat in a chair, and sank down almost to the floor!! The scariest thing was that when I got there, there was an envelope outside the office door with my name room number, and the room key in the envelope!! Anyone cold have been in that room!! I got there about 5 pm, so there was no good reason for there not to be someone in the office! I am traveling as a singlr woman, so this was upsetting! The pipes made a loud whining noise every time someone flushed a toilet, the bathroom had a sewer smell, and I did not even take shower, it was just too disgusting

It’s a DUMP. Carpet should’ve been replaced TEN tears ago. No hot water/just like warm and that was at 4pm. WiFi speed was .54Mb. Couldn’t even post on social media in the morning. TV remote batteries almost dead. Pay a little more and get something substantially better. Not much to choose from in Tonopah.

Didnt see any members of staff. Check in was done by picking up the door key from a key box putside reception and we left before the office opened the next morning. Room was large enough, with two double beds. It is lucky we are a couple and could sleep in only one bed, as the sheets on the other had suspicious stains on them, so that bed couldnt be used. Carpet had horrible looking stains too and the bath looked very grubby (although that could be age rather than grime). The whle room could do with some TLC and a major re-fresh.

I stay here a lot on my trips to and from Reno. Last couple times I have I have been after 6pm for check in, both times keys are in a spot for you to find to get into room. Door sign says open till 10. This is not really safe. Have your employees stay till closing. Food is close, and its basically clean. Rooms can be noisy. No elevator, which for some can be a trial.

Our stay was great. It was a stopover and the room was clean and comfortable, and the check in was easy. The outside of the hotel looks a bit run down but this is made up for by the great price point and ease of the rest of the stay and check in. If I had one criticism, it would be that we tried to call because I thought we might be late checking in and could not get a hold of anyone at the desk, but that was no issue int he end because the key was available for us when we came in anyway. If you are just passing through or want to explore the area without spending a million, this place is great.

The room is adorable, quaint, whoever picked the furnishings did a lovely job. But the facilities are a bit tired, the shower is not for tall folks... the staff is a bit curt. But yeah, quaint, and a good value. I would have liked more security/door locks as a solo traveler but I moved a heavy chair.
