I have been staying at the Hilton Mauritius since 2008. It never disappointed me until this time. It started at check in when I had to ask multiple times about my Hilton Honors number being in the system. No welcome back verbally or by note. No extra special touches for Hilton Honors members like they did in the past. I used all the herbal tea in my room and it wasn't replenished. No hot water in my shower when i arrived at the hotel the first evening. After a wedding i believe Sunday night beer cans and glasses where still on the beach when i went walking at 7 am. It looked like a frat house. Compared to other neighboring hotels this looked messy. The erosion on the beach is getting worse. Nothing the hotel can do, its just sad. Overall the property has aged considerably. I always loved this hotel. I'm usually in Mauritius on Business and found this hotel to have a nice mix of people instead of strictly honeymooners.

The staff were some of the best I’ve ever come across at a hotel. Extremely welcoming, accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend staying here if visiting Mauritius. The hotel has great links to the airport, and there are a range of things to do/see and eat with its three restaurant options (all of which serve extremely high quality food). 10/10 for me, the staff truly made the experience so special.

We had the most wonderful time during our stay. The property is amazing,situated on the beach. The staff are friendly and always went above and beyond. Especially the guys working at the Hibiscus bar. (Abin,Vishof,Famles,Gilles and Ameer) From a perfect barista cappuccino to a glass of Rosé or cocktail by the pool for sunset. Always friendly and professional.

We went for the New Year’s Eve celebrarion and booked a breakfast dinner package. We’re not fans of buffet but the food was excellent - quality, taste and variety - so we’re pleasantly surprised. Live music every night was ok, some nights better. Very friendly staff, high safety measures, decent amenities for a 5-star resort. Location is good but the beach section is narrow and stony. One needs to walk along the beach further south across a couple of resorts to find wide, quieter, more sandy beaches.

Очень странное место. Раньше было явно красиво. Территория большая, красивая и могла бы быть зеленой, если бы поливали. Но трава вся высохшая. Пляж тоже требует уборки от листьев. Вроде красиво, но не ухожено( Еда вкусная, но маленький выбор. Персонала почти нет. И он делится на 2 категории: почти все куда-то прячутся и только пару человек искренне пытаются помочь. Отдельное спасибо ребятам из бара у инфинити бассейна- очень вкусный кофе. И большой вопрос к менеджменту- что с питьевой водой в ресторанах? Пить невозможно - сильно отдает хлоркой!!! Если ехать издалека отдыхать - точно не сюда. Если по делам и не находиться постоянно в гостинице - то ок.

If you want to stay in Flic-en-Flac, stay here! The views are incredible - the view at the front of the hotel is almost unreal it is so beautiful. The views from our room were equally amazing - especially the sunsets. The staff are really helpful. The hotel is convenient for supermarkets etc. A great walk along the beach. Breakfast is great! Very plentiful food. The free water sports/ dolphin watching are well worth doing. Definitely do the sunset hike. The sunset views were well worth it! The only issue we had was getting our room cleaned, as sometimes it wasn't cleaned by 3pm. It really was the perfect location and we had the most wonderful holiday here.

Amazing hotel but needs refresh
The hotel and the staff is amazing, love architecture and low construct. But, the hotel is in need of a little bit of refresh, or touch up in both the rooms and hotel area. I would recommend the hotel, but personally I would say it's better suited for low season, when the price is more reasonable and a loooot fewer people. I stayed for two weeks in a seaview doubleroom, by the infinity pool - which is also located further away from the nightly entertainment that could be quite loud if you have your room close. And they don't need a band or DJ every night, sometimes we wished it would've just been a quiet evening by the bar / lounge / beach.

Setup to be amazing - currently lacking the edge
We had a good stay overall - there was just too many 1-star facets to recommend the Hilton with a lot of confidence. There were many pros during our stay such as great senior staff (such as Damian); food; facilities; and much more. We loved the room - very clean! You can see they are setup for success; but then there is clearly a gap in training and internal systems. There was a few let down moments which were very irritating with our expectations set on 5-star quality all the way... Junior staff were not trained well - there was literally daily miscommunication about resort activities, dinner and taxi arrangements. And for them to process something simple like adding a taxi to your room - took at least 5 minutes each time. There was also a case where their handyman were drilling in the room next to us on a Wednesday afternoon whilst we were sleeping; and where my wife's hairbrush just went missing after our room was cleaned - after reporting this we just got no response. @Hilton - you've got everything you need to be the best Hotel in Mauritius - train your newbies better and simplify your systems.

Amazing can’t wait to go back. Only issue was a dripping shower that woke me up a few times. Food was outstanding!

Lovely hotel along a fantastic beach. The hotel is big but there was always free sunbeds along the beach and round the pools. We never ate at the main restaurants but the food we ate on the beach and room service wasn't too bad. Staff were all lovely and really friendly and the bars and entertainment are great each night. The beach is amazing to walk along and the sea is super still and lovely to swim in, there is also great number of free water-sports for guests.

Horrible experience - zero comfort.
Most disappointing experience. Request was made to allocate junior suite room with ocean front for a honeymoon couple, but was allocated a room next to public beach. View was blocked by a line of boats parked in front of the room. Boats were not removed for four days even after making repetitive requests. Phone was not working which was repaired after complaint. Food was bad in all restaurants in the property. Had to walk to other properties to get some decent food. Room service was bad. No one from management talked to us before allocating the room to us.

Over all ok
Good location.clean. some service need to be improve Thay forget some time to provide bottel of water small towels tissues Also the day of check out they call at 12 and ask to leave with unpolite way and we discuss with them that we will leave at one and they said somebody comming for rooms this is roud way with clients since we know check inn in all hotels at 4 i report this to the maneger and he promise to enhance service

Hilton’s rarely disappoint
This is a fantastic resort. Everything is up to the highest Hilton standards. My only small complaint would be that it is a little out of walking distance from the Flic en Flac main area. The breakfast buffet was the best breakfast i have had in Mauritius.

We spent two weeks here with our toddler daughter and were made to feel extremely welcome. The staff are incredibly friendly & helpful, always looking out for our daughter. They are so dedicated & hard-working, a credit to the Hilton brand. My wife was very ill for 24hrs (nothing to do with hotel - she’s pregnant) and they arranged for a doctor to visit. They then sent a tray of food & fruit to help her recover. The chef offered to make special food for her. The rooms were kept very clean by cheerful staff and the boat house provided free snorkelling and dolphin watching excursions. The breakfast buffets were very varied & generous and my wife enjoyed the spa facilities. Our daughter loved the swimming pools and the special fire ceremony at 7pm each evening. Sometimes the kids club wasn’t open as often as we’d like but the team were always so great with her. They really make the whole experience special. Thanks Hilton Mauritius!
