Encino House has everything for having a pleasant stay. We had a late check in, we called them and it wasn’t a problem. Amenities were very good in general, very clean and with a beautiful balcony. It was a little noisy but it has a quick access to a principal avenue if you are visiting Velo de Novia waterfalls. We stayed in a quadruple bedroom, beds were very comfy but I wished the sofa bed were bigger as it only fit one person in it.
We had a little problem with the remote and it was fixed right away. In general, we enjoyed our stay at Encino House.
It was very difficult to locate the property. The phone number both in Expedia and in Google, since we can´t seem to find their webpage, was wrong. Windows do not shut properly and is kind of windy inside the room, specially if your bed is next to the window and while taking a shower.
First day we arrive we had no power, so we went there to rest and with no power we could not watch netflix, charge oour mobile phones, and staff said they had to be two hours in order to turn on the power plant. Them I went to the receptionist and she had no idea what I was talking about. One person said it was an accident outside the hotel and the company was taking care but had no idea about the time. Then the lady in the teception said it was a problem in the power box, a shortcut and they were fixing it. So it was like 4 hours and lies about what happended. Thenthey don't have what the description says. No queen beds, they are double. No restaurant service during the week. If you look for a quiet place this is NOT at all. Is just by the main road so a lot of noise from cars and working areas. And is really hot during this time of the year and they don't even have a fan... and no AC so we were melting inside the room, even with the whole door of the terrace open there is barely any air, and innthe afternoon you have to close because there are a lot of bugs and mosquitos goong inside the room. I was celebrating my birthday but not with this issues
